Just think about it this way: In 2017 they predicted XRP would go to $1000. It ran from $0.20 all the way to $3.80 and shills were flooding feeds claiming it was going to much much higher. Fast forward to today, almost 9 years later and the price is very similar to what it was then. The sentiment was exactly the same then, and some holders have taken 8+ years to recover their investment and break even.

IMO if you understand how and why bitcoin works and you have conviction, then there is no way you can have conviction in holding XRP.

If the ETFs go live it should blow past $9. Canary ETF claims that XRP could hit 5 billion first month. Don’t forget the multiplier that adds on to crypto market cap. Example: XRP had 30.73 million dollars of inflow and that raised its market cap by 15 billion. That’s a 488x multipllier.
Let’s assume a 100x multiplier (guess) and 10billion inflows would give you 16-17 dollars. It will not take much to get those prices. Most people think the crypto market multiplies like the stock market

I don't think XRP has anything to do with the credit card. They might just be licensing their name to gain customers from Gemini.

I don't think banks will realistically use their own stablecoins. They have zero experience, and then what a mess that would create with the exchange. They'll more likely use what's established. That makes more sense. USDT, USDC, USDL, and eventually EURo coins, Yen, etc. Or they could just buy XRP at one end and sell it at the other end....and banks could keep XRP as an asset on their books, making them the biggest buyer in the room. This is what I'm thinking will happen.

Same. I just completed 4000 XRP Coins and 50 Solana Coins! I haven’t been too big on crypto, since I was heavily invested in the stock, Market and physical gold, and Silver. Now that I feel that I have a good amount in my other investments. I wanted to start investing in crypto. So hopefully this turns into something good as well. Good luck. Everyone. Everyone says that it’s coming soon. I’m praying it does.

You could also buy an option contract for XRPI for pretty cheap. Do you have a stock trade account? $5 a share for the March 2026 contract that controls 100 shares of XRPI at $16 if I remember correctly...so $500 insurance policy in case XRP explodes higher. Sell the options and rotate into coins. Another option while you build your stack.

XRP and ADA are scams, but other than that, pretty good. You should sell those off to add to BTC, ETH LINK, et cetera.
And if you want to add something that’s a bit higher risk, consider SPX6900, it’s $GME on steroids, a movement coin with a very large and passionate community

A lot of people are bitcoin maxis on this app and that’s not a bad thing, but we are nearing the very top of this cycle. Bitcoin is absolutely going to go down (not financial advice) once this run is over. I honestly think MINIMUM 30-40%, but could be more as Bitcoin has experienced 80% drops during bear markets. I’d begin by looking into Elliot wave theory, watch CrediBullCrypto’s YouTube videos (I’ve learned SO much from him) and then start following the money. Not saying this in support of Trump, but he and his family have invested heavily in CRO, ADA, and XRP to name a few (and yes, Bitcoin and ETH as well, but unless you have a couple grand at least to put into ETH, now is not really the time for that one). Good luck! And again: not financial advice.

Okay, so the simplest way to think about XRP's utility is to imagine the massive, trillion-dollar problem of international money transfers.
Right now, if you want to send money across borders, it's a mess. It has to bounce between a bunch of different banks, each one taking a fee and causing delays. It can take days and cost a fortune. This isn't just a problem for you and me; it's a colossal headache for big companies and payment providers who have to lock up millions of dollars in accounts around the world just to facilitate these transfers. That's dead capital.
This is where XRP comes in. It's not designed to be a currency you buy coffee with. Its job is to be a universal bridge.
Think of it like this: Sending money from USD to Euros is like trying to trade a rare baseball card for a rare comic book. It's hard to find the right person and agree on a fair price. XRP acts as a neutral, digital asset that everyone can agree on—like converting that baseball card into gold bars, instantly walking across the room, and trading those gold bars for the comic book.
In practice, a payment provider can convert dollars to XRP, send that XRP anywhere in the world on a decentralized ledger in 3-5 seconds for a fraction of a penny, and the recipient instantly converts that XRP into the local currency, like pesos or yen. It eliminates the need for all those pre-funded accounts and middlemen.
So, calling XRP "just fiat" completely misses the point. Fiat (like the dollar) is the value being moved. XRP is the lightning-fast, ultra-cheap rail that moves it. It's the infrastructure, not the passenger.

Take the risk, pay that loan off if you getting a good rate!
As long as you can comfortably live while paying that loan off I don’t see why not. Everyone here believes in XRP so what would truly make this a bad idea?
