I traded $XPL on Bitget’s pre-market futures last month and it actually gave a decent read on how the market might behave. The gasless USDT transfers are the real kicker though

We mentioned Plasma XPL in the TRON report because whales are rotating big money into it. It’s a new chain competing with TRON for stablecoins, DeFi, and yield. It could impact TRON flows, so our readers need to watch it for risk events, just something to keep note of is all.

I've been knee-deep in the crypto trenches for years now, riding the waves of volatility like most of us here. But let me tell you, the last 7 days have been a bloodbath for my portfolio literally 99.9% of my holdings tanked over 20% each, leaving me staring at a sea of red that could make even the most seasoned HODLer sweat. The one saving grace? $BGB. This token has been my portfolio's lifeline, stubbornly holding onto green territory while everything else crumbled. It's a reminder of why I diversified into utility tokens like BGB in the first place they're built for stability in ecosystems like Bitget, and right now, it's the only thing keeping my overall balance from total annihilation.
That said, I'm not just sitting back and hoping for a miracle; I've been actively farming launchpools to claw back some gains, and the timing couldn't be better. The $0G launchpool came through clutch, pumping out solid returns that softened the blow from my other positions and gave me some much-needed breathing room. Now, with $XPL kicking off again, I'm going all in on this one staking everything I've got into it. The reward pool is a hefty 2,200,000 XPL, and based on the last run where the listing price surged 60% and APY hit an impressive 67%, I'm optimistic this could be another winner. If you're in a similar spot, definitely check it out; these opportunities have been my secret weapon for staying afloat in this brutal market. What's been saving your portfolios lately?

One of the biggest promises of crypto was faster and cheaper transactions. But let’s be honest, high gas fees, slow confirmations, and network congestion made it hard for average users to rely on crypto for daily payments. That is why i have been following stablecoin projects more closely these days. Some of them are finally starting to focus on real use cases, not just speculation.
There is this one project i came across recently that is been building a stablecoin system specifically optimized for fast payments and low cost transactions. It is not trying to reinvent the wheel, just making it easier for people to actually use digital money the way it was originally intended. The focus is on low-fee transfers, instant settlement, and making stablecoins usable in real economies, especially in regions where access to traditional banking is limited.
What i liked is that it is not just hype, they have already built a layer-1 blockchain to support the network, and the transaction fees are tiny fractions of a cent. Transfers complete in a few seconds, and since it is stablecoin based, there is no volatility messing things up for merchants or users. You can send $10 or $10,000 and know exactly what is arriving on the other side.
Interestingly, their token $XPL (Plasma) just got listed on Bitget, which makes it more accessible now for anyone who wants to explore or support the ecosystem. It is still early stage, but seeing a listing on a larger exchange gives the project a bit more credibility, in my opinion. i am not saying buy the token or anything like that, just noting that it is a step toward broader adoption.
If stablecoins are going to be the bridge between crypto and the real world, projects like this might be the direction things need to go. Less about speculation, more about utility. Curious if anyone else here is using crypto for daily payments, what’s worked for you?

tldr; BNB Chain DEX Aster reimbursed users after a glitch in its Plasma (XPL) perpetual market caused prices to spike to $4, leading to unexpected liquidations and fees. The issue stemmed from a misconfigured index. Aster quickly compensated affected users and resolved the problem. Despite the incident, Aster's trading volumes surged, reaching $46 billion on Friday, outpacing competitors. However, community members raised concerns about potential risks and trading incentives on the platform.

Stablecoins are often seen as the most practical bridge between crypto and traditional finance. They promise stability and efficiency, yet using them on networks like Ethereum, Tron, or Solana has shown me that high fees, congestion, and uneven user experience are still real obstacles.
Over time, I have come to appreciate projects that are trying to address these gaps instead of just chasing hype. One example is Plasma (XPL), a Layer 1 chain built specifically for stablecoin payments. It introduces features like gasless USDT transfers through protocol-level paymaster contracts (with safeguards against spam) and a consensus system that claims over 1,000 TPS with sub-second finality. The project also has backing from names like Founders Fund, Framework Ventures, and Bitfinex/Tether.
Recently, Bitget opened an XPL Launchpool, allowing users to participate in the network in a structured way. In its first day, XPL saw notable activity, which reflects the early engagement of the community rather than any guaranteed outcome.
Stablecoins already underpin much of the crypto economy, but for them to scale further, better infrastructure is needed. Projects like Plasma illustrate one approach toward making stablecoin payments faster, more reliable, and more practical for everyday use.
