1. Make sure you’re viewing the correct network for your BTC.
Base Wallet supports multiple networks, and Bitcoin (BTC) only appears in the Native Bitcoin network. If you accidentally added a wrapped version (like WBTC on Ethereum), it won’t show up in the Bitcoin send flow.
2. Confirm the asset is actually “Bitcoin (BTC)” and not a different token with a similar name.
In the asset list, tap the BTC balance and check that it says Bitcoin under the name, with no parentheses like “(ERC-20)” or “Wrapped.”
3. Check that your wallet has enough BTC to cover network fees.
The Bitcoin network requires miners’ fees, and if your balance is too low after fees, the send option may not appear.
4. Try toggling the Bitcoin network on/off:
Settings → Networks → toggle Bitcoin → refresh the app → check again.
5. Update the Coinbase Wallet app.
An outdated version can cause issues on the app.
