I was venting in some random daily discussion thread a few days ago about my crypto cards constantly getting declined at hotel check-ins. Some guy replied and told me to try this thing called offgrid.cash.
I assumed it was just another scammy burner card that would get rejected anyway, but I was literally standing in a lobby out of options.
Scraped an invite code off Twitter, loaded 100 bucks of USDC, added the virtual card to Google Pay and tapped the terminal. It actually bypassed the prepaid block and accepted the auth hold immediately. I don't know who you are, but thanks.

yeah there are non-custodial ways to earn yield on USDC, but its not really free money tbh, youre still taking smart contract and protocol risk. most people use lending protocols where you deposit USDC and borrowers pay the interest, but yields can change a lot depending on market conditions. if you go that route i’d start small first and stick to protocols that have been around awhile with decent audits and liquidity. also double check which network youre using cause bridging funds around for an extra 1% sometimes isnt worth the extra risk or gas fees

One angle people overlook is that ETH hitting lows against BTC often coincides with stablecoin dominance rising, meaning capital isn't really rotating into BTC conviction so much as parking defensively. When I've watched on-chain flows during these periods, USDC and USDT transfer volumes spike before ETH recovers, not after. The ETH/BTC ratio has historically been a lagging signal for altseason, not a leading one, so reading it as a definitive trend shift is usually premature.

Yeah... this is why I don't try to earn yields on defi. I have a small amount of USDC lent on Coinbase, but other than BTC is the way.

Exponentially more utility? Interesting… what else other than functioning as a currency (USDC, USDT and Ethereum can do that too)?
Bitcoin payment p2p takes at least 10min… EVM bring that down to seconds. Not to mention the fees.
Ethereum’s smart contracts give much more room for utility development in crypto than Bitcoin. A real new digital decentralised financial system can be developed.

I don't really see anyone answering the OP's question, just payment processors peddling their services. He knows how to accept crypto, and even mentioned the bank-like Coinbase Commerce (avoid! They got arrogant like banks now).
What he wants to know, is where to get customers that already have USDC, and that are comfortable paying him with that. Right?
My guess would be to focus on companies that have it. LOL. That's of course the tricky part, and just gave me an idea to explore.
Alternatively, add a page to your website explaining the pro's and cons of paying with crypto (offer USDT too), and the easy steps on how to set it up (get wallet, load funds, etc.)
Offer them 5% or even 10% discount with the first payment, just to get them to make their first payment this way. Then keep them as customers.

Trump is sticking up for Coinbase who is getting a regulatory carve out that sheds basic consumer protections. Remember this when there is a run on USDC and Coinbase says not their problem.
This isn't good for you and me, or crypto. This is good for a few centralized entities, specifically those who bought these public policies with $500M in political donations last election cycle.

You definately did a cross chain swap
Cross chain swaps are always extremely bad value
Ideally you want to swap on the same chain, then bridge. If there is no matching bridge then you might have to swap to a common token (eth, USDC) then bridge that, then swap to the original token. This is always what cross chain swaps do in the background, then slap on that 3% convenience fee on top
Nearly always there will be a free bridge option, eg withdrawing to binance then withdrawing to the destination chain, or using their official eth bridge of there is one
At no point should your fee ever be more than 0.3%
