Based on current market data, here are the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, ranked generally from highest to lowest volatility.
It's important to understand that volatility is a measure of how much the price of an asset fluctuates over time, and it can change rapidly based on market conditions, news, and overall sentiment.
Here is a general ranking based on typical market behavior and recent data trends. Please note that this is not a precise, real-time calculation but rather a relative ranking:
Top 15 Cryptocurrencies by Market Cap, Ranked by General Volatility (Highest to Lowest)
* Dogecoin (DOGE): As a meme coin, Dogecoin's price is heavily influenced by social media trends and speculation, leading to significantly higher volatility compared to most other large-cap cryptocurrencies.
* Solana (SOL): Known for its high throughput and rapid ecosystem growth, SOL has experienced substantial price swings and is generally considered highly volatile.
* Avalanche (AVAX): Similar to Solana, Avalanche is a platform focused on decentralized applications and has shown high volatility in its price movements.
* Sui (SUI): A relatively newer entrant to the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, Sui's price can be subject to higher volatility as its ecosystem and adoption are still developing.
* Chainlink (LINK): As a key infrastructure project providing data to smart contracts, LINK's price volatility can be influenced by developments in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space and broader market movements.
* BNB (BNB): The native coin of the Binance exchange, BNB's volatility is tied to the performance of the exchange and the overall crypto market, often exhibiting significant price changes.
* Cardano (ADA): While focused on a research-driven approach, ADA's price has experienced considerable volatility, influenced by development milestones and market sentiment.
* TRON (TRX): Focused on decentralized entertainment and content sharing, TRX generally exhibits moderate to high volatility within the large-cap space.
* XRP (XRP): Associated with the Ripple payment network, XRP's price has been subject to volatility, also influenced by regulatory news and market trends.
* Stellar (XLM): Similar to XRP, Stellar aims to connect financial institutions and provides fast, low-cost transactions. Its volatility is typically in a similar range to XRP.
* Ethereum (ETH): As the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap and a major platform for decentralized applications, ETH is less volatile than smaller altcoins but still experiences significant price swings compared to traditional financial assets.
* Bitcoin (BTC): The largest and most established cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is generally considered less volatile than most altcoins but is still known for considerable price fluctuations, making it volatile compared to traditional assets.
* Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC): As a token representing Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain, WBTC's price is pegged to BTC, so its volatility directly mirrors that of Bitcoin.

Yeah and, from everything I've seen, it's pretty much a scam. Ten USDT to activate and then TEN USDT per transaction. So, pretty much worse in every way than just sourcing some TRX and spending the 27 TRX or whatever (\~$7 today) to send USDT.

But to cover the energy to make 1 transaction each day requires to stake 1000+ TRX which is really high compare to other chains if most transactions are small.

I'm using Tronlink+Chrome, now I've Reset the wallet, deleted it, and moved on to Brave.
They haven't unstaked but they did transfer >1 TRX that wasn't staked to their wallet only has some old receive Txs from binance and an exchange wallet with no public name (TZ8Ksz21Hk1tQuztCKCUJBRXStCav9uyjM).
The only other places I have my wallet imported is exodus but everything there is safe.
Is there anything more I can do to stay safe?

You’re absolutely right to sense some confusion, Tron has come a long way since its inception. While it was originally built with low-cost transactions in mind, the network has evolved into a robust infrastructure for decentralized financial activity, especially with the integration and dominance of USDT on-chain.
Today, TRX isn’t just a transactional coin—it’s a commitment to the ecosystem. Holders who stake TRX can earn a base return of around 4.7% APY, and those who go further by renting out energy can push that yield closer to 18–25% annually, depending on strategy. This makes TRX more than just a means of payment, it’s a productive asset.
Yes, transaction fees can be noticeable for micro-payments if you’re not using energy, but the network offers clear mechanisms to drastically reduce or eliminate those costs via staking or energy leasing. It’s a system that rewards participation.
Importantly, Tron has stayed remarkably consistent in delivering value to its long-term supporters. It’s deflationary, continues to grow steadily in price, and has seen some of the highest real-world usage of any blockchain—particularly in high-volume payments and stablecoin transfers.
In short, while the community might often highlight meme coins or yield plays, the real strength of Tron lies in its utility, stability, and the tangible returns it offers those who engage deeply with the network.

This is just the beginning.
Total amount of USDT on TRON in circulation: $75,040,007,064.14

It is a good day to build a position in TRX to ensure free on chain transactions (0 gas fees) in the present and future.
TRX also continues to be deflationary: [https://tronscan.org/#/data/charts/trx/supply](https://tronscan.org/#/data/charts/trx/supply)
