The Reserve protocol circulates three native tokens. The Reserve token is the stablecoin currency that maintains a fiat peg and later an asset peg. The Reserve Share token is a normal digital asset with no price stability mechanism that can be purchased, held, and traded like any other crypto asset to speculate on the value of the protocol. Collateral tokens are other assets held in reserve to support the value of the Reserve tokens. These are held in at least 100% reserve for the Reserve tokens.
