Similar to the other reply, I just developed rules. At the start of last year I went in with high expectations. Crypto was already doing well and our new president appeared to show a lot of promise. Then he pissed a lot of citizens off with his government audit, which put a kink in the economy. Then he pressed ahead with his tariff plan and that seemed to to shake up everything. I was also inexperienced and was buying pumps and highs, converting losing crypto for pumping crypto and ending up holding into a sell off. I ended up being down about 70% and then decided to fold my cards. After everything had tanked I started wondering how people was still making money. So I did some thinking and figured out some rules. I tested them with relatively small amounts and the rules worked. So I started increasing my investments while sticking to those rules. I don't claim to have found anything special. In fact it's all simple really. First I don't invest money that I depend on. Second I don't use market orders, instead I use limit orders. Third, I invest in only Solana, LCX, and Morpho... Nothing more. Fourth, I constantly observe my crypto to determine frequent lows and highs. And last, I stick to my plans and never sell for a loss. Using money that I'm not dependent on really makes a difference in my mindset. A crypto can dip and I don't worry because I know that it will rise again sooner or later. I focus on buying the dips and selling the highs, then repurchase in the next dip.
