A thousand cuts bring down a mountain. It is a simple premise.
Of course I utilize billionaire owned corporations like amazon, google etc. That is the point. They have ALREADY won. Every time we change a "lil norm" like NASDAQ did, it is another important part of the any chance we have to pretend the system is not already incredibly favoring them and their insane wealth and giving them an advanatage others do not get. Why would they make that little choice? Was it necessary? Not even a little. It makes no sense. Keeping things as they were made so much more sense, for as you say, a product that needs to be measured in decades. It could be a great stock, but here we are back at $155. The stock market does not need to be manipulated more than it is.
The presidency existed before D T but previous POTUS did nothing like this one. It isn't even close. The level of corruption is not remotely comparable. He brags about it. He tells people to buy certain stocks, shares info with his family and others, accepts bribes, accepts bribes for pardons. It is madness to watch. DOGE did not exist until Elon Musk came along and named it as such. You're arguing semantics. Another government agency tasked with the same type of thing existed but would have gone about it very differently and much more effectively than a guy who just wanted to make noise and exclude himself from accountability and get his hands deeply into the countries data with his army of hackers. That you would defend this is disheartening. By every measure DOGE failed in its mission to save money, cut waste or help the country at large. Remember that DOGE refund thingy? I knew it was BS but idiots salivated at getting a measly few grand so he could clear his legal issues. USAID needing review, and there was fraud, but it did a lot of good as well. Taking an axe to it was not the solution.
What a load of crap this country is accepting right now. You are still defending wrong doing and corruption and acting like it is no big deal. Just watch... shit is getting measurably worse daily.
Talk to you in 6 months. This conversation not productive. You don't agree with me, concede no points, and it is a waste of my time.

There's no rule Dems need to continue any of these launch programs if they don't want to honestly
I expect at some point there to be a Dem DOGE equivalent to get rid of programs that are not perceived as benefiting Americans, especially defense

> Yeah, no reason to even try to stop the billionaire class from destroying our world.
Better than the softheaded believing you can transfer from then productive to the unproductive
>Have you watched "Ready Player One" or any other of a myriad of sci fi from decades past. These movies are far more accurate than you think.
I can tell your logic is really strong by use of a fictional example
>It isn't conspiracy, it is reality. Look at DOGE. What a dismal failure of our system. He stole our data, likely sold it, allowed his staff to run off with it, killed his lawsuits and investigations into him, and accomplished literally nothing positive. Nothing.
DOGE already existed as a digital audit system under the Obama administration, they merely renamed it.
The only failure is that it was stopped before completion because it directly threatened the corruption industrial complex.
>Yeah, keep trusting people like him. It leads to our downfall.
Trust has nothing to do with it.
>Cheers.
Maybe you'll get it one day that there are people who produce and governments who absorb.
You cannot tax your way to prosperity

I don't think you will ever recover this loss if you keep holding these. None of these coins are good, maybe DOGE and XRP can stay alive but the rest will be slow-bleeding to the bottom. Remember there are cycles in the market, and there are money flows in the market, you stick close to those you will be good, otherwise it's just speculating.

The maintenance margin is high so this cannot be levered, but shares of Space X are remarkably cheap to borrow in sizes that dwarf the majority of retail account sizes. I was surprised to see the cost to borrow shares on IBKR wasn't above 1%. I doubt SpaceX is going to suddenly trade lower as is desireable in most circumstances when going short stock, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it bleed lower for a long time. I think the rockets landing are pretty cool but this thing isn't worth 400x its TTM ebitda.
The business without the AI stuff puts a floor on SpaceX (alongside their girthy balance sheet) because that segment actually has positive operating margins, but even a 300x multiple on those earnings makes SpaceX worth significantly less than what it is trading for today. It also remains tbd how good starlink actually is as a businessness due to their short lifespan & the depreciation of literal rockets. If the maintenance capex is overwhelming it could make that operating income an illusory figure.
The sheer size is also at a point where discount rates as low as 5% require SpaceX to generate quantities of free cash flow that seem mathematically impossible. And in an attempt for buying revenue alongside the underwriters essentially betraying society by lying for fees in the S-1 investment banks signed off on, SpaceX is smashing their balance sheet into hastily building poorly managed AI data centers powering Grok and twitter subscriptions. This is turning out to not be a great business, so I do not think it will be what SpaceX does forever but it doesn't help the valuation.
Going into the unlock next month, almost everyone that made off well here is the stock markets version of being house rich and cash poor. A lot of them will start selling into bids that have only been propped up by a low float speculative bid on a super hot IPO thats been advertised globally.
Silly as it is Musk also represents key man risk insofar as the center piece of the cult of musk & his businesses prices. The man is growing increasingly erratic, he probably broke federal law with DOGE (not that I expect it to be enforced against him), and in the event he ends up passing away or getting in actual legal trouble for the first time ever it would probably cut the stock in half. I do not have a large position against SpaceX but I am short shares.

Was this before or after the DOGE egress to Russia I've heard so many folks whispering about?
Anyway, unless you can mythos your way to a Baconator, Biggie size with a Coke Zero you should probably go ahead and take my order, kiddo.

The rug pull was planned. The moment he walked out on SNL, it began tanking. Retail investors didn't know what was going on and by the time he went out on Weekend Update, insulted the coin, it was down and never went back up again.
April 24th - Musk is announced for SNL - $0.27
May 8th - Elon takes stage - $0.58
May 8th - Elon makes jab at DOGE - $0.56
May 8th - NOSE DIVES - $0.44
And never recovered.

Stop with the HODL already. At this point it’s just hurting yourself. I wish things were different and DOGE stock soared up hundreds of dollars and all that but even I can recognize uselessly wishful thinking.

True - DOGE is not a success or failure because of EM. Had he not pumped it at all, it might be even lower down in value. He gave it value.

I didn't say he's the dumbest person, I even said he's likely quite intelligent. But intelligence and smart aren't exactly the same thing.
We are in a post about the incredibly mismanaged DOGE. They headline of the article is how agencies are scrambling to rehire people fired by DOGE. You don't undo intelligent decisions.
If you can't look at the stupidity that clearly exists just within this post. I'm not going to explain it to you.
But to make it easy.
Do you like screw worms? Doge did that.

Yeah worth a franction of now. For life of me I do not understand why people hold it, every day they issue more DOGE diluting existing pool. Sure flip it when there is hype, but holding is regarded.
