If I had to point to anything it's people actually thinking that there'll be a spcx/tsla merger and the deliveries report on the 2nd, which will probably show a yoy gain (Ignore that june last year was particularly shit because of liberation day/DOGE fallout).

> because Media told people like you

I purchased my first TSLA shares in **2011** and have been a shareholder for 15 years now.
Your first mistake is assuming, incorrectly, that my opinion is based on media reporting.
* Nobody who parrots mainstream media opinion would have bought TSLA stock in 2011 or held through the 2010s when the vast majority of mainstream media was reporting that Tesla was "doomed" and that the stock would go to zero.

People don't need mainstream media to form an opinion of Elon Musk and who he has become over the past 5 years. It's all on his Twitter feed, posted by Mr. Musk himself.
On various forums like Reddit and TMC, people have regularly posted links to Musk's own tweets on X as examples of behavior they find objectionable. One example that comes to mind is when Musk made a tweet falsely accusing former Twitter exec Yoel Roth of advocating for children having access to adult Internet sex services. This incited people on Twitter to threaten Roth with physical harm.
Some % of consumers don't want to spend money and support a business owner who does stuff like this. They view giving more wealth to a man who misuses his power, as immoral. Musk's efforts with DOGE were disastrous, and reinforce the conclusion that he has used his wealth and power irresponsibly.

Ach Gott. Natürlich. Was ein populistischer Schwachsinn.

Watching how [$DOGE](https://aimytrade.io/ticker/doge?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=investingforbeginners&utm_term=DOGE&utm_content=template_1782728708504_rrwe8f) sets up. The reaction to guidance often tells you more than the number itself. Educational read for.

Crypto being weak would make more sense to me if everything speculative was getting sold. The weird part is that stocks are still finding buyers, just not crypto.
This does not feel like a clean risk-off market. AI names are still attracting attention, and even when money rotates out of the most crowded chip trades, it seems to spread into other equities instead of coming back into crypto.
That makes alts look worse. DOGE, HYPE, ETH, and XRP can sell off while the broader stock market still has momentum somewhere else. So maybe the issue is not that people stopped wanting risk. Maybe crypto just is not the preferred risk trade right now.
I was flipping between crypto perps and AI-related names on BYDFi, and the contrast was annoying. Crypto looked like it needed a reason to bounce. AI stocks looked like they only needed a reason not to break. That is a very different kind of tape.
Not saying AI is safer or crypto is dead. These rotations can reverse fast. But if traders can get cleaner momentum in public equities, especially with actual earnings stories attached, waiting for alt season gets harder to justify.
For people still holding alts, what would make you believe liquidity is actually rotating back into crypto instead of just passing it by again?

You do realize Doge isn't 99% of cryptos... Even at 7c, Doge is in the top 10 largest cryptos by marketcap. It has plenty of support. Also, Doge didn't break ATH in 2023 because it was still far from retesting long term support trends like it is now, even though the realized price of DOGE was lower at the time. Momentum takes time to build. You are correct, there is no guarantee.

No. But seems like you we're already debating making a move prior to our engagement. Going all in on anything is not a smart move.. you know that already. Like every cycle previously DOGE always bounces back. The fact that people can accumulate their holdings at this current price is a gift. Red is green and green is red.

He's probably responsible for more deaths with his DOGE bullshit than most dictators could dream of, he's just a step removed from actually doing it himself. What positive or even non negative impact has this leech actually brought to anyone's life?

I think whats more likely, and ill be as neutral as I can when I say this, is that political power changes hands. Elon has planted his flag on a side. Between buying twitter and turning it into what it is now and what it was used for in the election, to the whole DOGE thing, to the government contracts, and the financial rules changing specifically for him, unless things stay the way they are for an extended period of time I think theres going be investigations into all of this. Agree with it or not, I dont know that elon walks out of it unscathed. Europe is already trying with those prosecutors in Paris.

Again I will have nothing to do with anything Musk is involved with after pulling that DOGE bullshit. FUCK him and the horse he rode in on.
