Nah a quality engineer at a plant in Indiana. I left in 2020, my last project was the hybrid CRV.
I spoke my peace back then about how we were way behind the curve of hybrid tech and nothing about the hybrid CRV was compelling when sat next to a hybrid Rav4. Rav4 managed to keep the spare tire while the CRV tossed it to put a battery in its place.

And the CRV hybrid was added as a after thought. I railed so hard against this while I worked there.
They had us test the Rav4 next to the CRV (both hybrid) and it wasnt even close the RAV was so much better. My feedback wasnt appreciated. They scrapped the plug in hybrid civic while I was there too. That was maddening.

I agree. I think you’ll see the first year model have a base price of $30,000 but the average one sold will be closer to $40,000. Pricing probably similar to the Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4.
