They have cash reserves so the yield is out of the question i think. Bigger question is, will they survive a brutal BTC bear market for \~2 more years.

>they have to sell $142.6 million a month of BTC for all preferred dividends after cash reserve is depleted - that should be nothing for the BTC markets.
This is a lot worse than you're making it out to be.
Bitcoin goes up when people think Saylor is making purchases. It goes down when they're even the slightest bit worried he might sell. The btc market (esp institutions) want to frontrun whatever he's doing; he is the largest net purchaser of btc on earth and it's not close.
What's worse is that by selling 142.6 M of bitcoin per month, the bitcoin per share of the common stock goes **down**, which defeats the entire purpose of owning MSTR over BTC directly.
I've just never heard of a company offering >10% dividends on a fixed income product and having it work out well, outside of maybe in the 70s when fed interest rates were well over 10%.

I do not agree with all that was said but at leaat in principle I do agree that Bitcoin is in the only asset that in principle(but not in reality) does not require permission to own or use.
There are even more than one Bitcoins, so what are you talking about? BTC is one of the worst coins in that regard too, since it does not have the transaction throughput for many people to own coins onchain. There are many better blockchains that actually offer owning and using to more than a tiny amount of people.

Hey guys, quick update on my last post about the covariance risk parity engine. A senior institutional quant from quant sub actually took the time to test the logic and try to break it. I was glad that people like to break things.
He found a bad bug under stress where tokens blew past the hard caps. The issue was the KKT projection failing to bind correctly under stress. The engine printed dynamic caps but failed to enforce them, which allowed risky assets to aggregate toward 100% instead of staying capped at 60%.
I fixed the projection logic and cap enforcement, so now the governor holds the limits exactly where they belong. retested it with 180d real data and now the limits hold perfectly.
Method: ERC+covariance+KKT (6 iter)
Portfolio vol: 27.5%
Weights (KKT-projected):
BTC: 17.62% (vol:48.9%, erc:30.57%, rc:30.3%) A (cap: 18%)
LINK: 10.8% (vol: 63.8%, erc:23.35%, rc:24.2%) (cap: 11%)
XRP: 10.06% (vol:65.5%, erc: 23.33%, rc:22.5%) A (cap: 10%)
ETH: 10% (vol: 65.6%, erc:22.75%, rc:23.0%) (cap:10%)
Top correlations:
ETH\_LINK: 0.93
BTC\_ETH: 0.92
BTC\_LINK: 0.89
KKT constraints:
BTC capped at 18% (vol: 48.9%)
ETH capped at 10% (vol: 65.6%)
LINK capped at 11% (vol: 63.8%)
XRP capped at 10% (vol: 65.5%)
Data: BTC=180d, ETH=180d, LINK=180d, XRP=180d
This is pure risk management for the book and advance mathematical allocation and DCA
It is not a direct hedging strategy with shorts or options, but it protects the portfolio by controlling allocation weights when asset correlation spikes to 1.
Right now v1 is stable and ready. I am not posting any links here due to the promo rules. I would love to discuss the mathematical logic or how you handle DCAand Aloccation?

It will this time, because of MSTR. They hold 800 000 BTC and have been for a while the main buyer of BTC. Everybody else will wisely wait till MSTR is forced to have sold all the 800 000 BTC before buying again. That's all you have to do, wait. And sooner or later those 800 000 BTC go on the market for lower and lower and lower prices.

The BLOCKZ NFT collection is probably the most slept on NFTs out there.

These are hashpower NFTs. When minted they get put in the queue and start mining for a 1 Bitcoin reward. But the best thing is that if someone else finds a block...at any time in the future you share 2.1 BTC according to how much power your NFTs pushed out. Just saw a post that the NFTs are currently valued at a $300 payout if someone were to find a block today. T They only cost 0.0088 to mint! Theres a few hundred left on Opensea: [https://opensea.io/collection/blockz/overview](https://opensea.io/collection/blockz/overview)And anyone looking to get more involved and or see full details the mining pools site is [basedmining.xyz](http://basedmining.xyz)

Anyone who is buying now while MSTR is sitting on >$10 Billion in unrealized losses is just asking to lose money.
I cannot predict the future, but I have never seen a worse time to buy bitcoin, MSTR is so completely upside down.
MSTR has about $7 Billion in debt, $15 Billion in preferred shares (with $1.4 Billion in dividends). The CEO has claimed preferred shares are like a money market account -- and therefore is prone to lawsuits if he stops dividends and unwilling to buyback stock.
Between the $7 billion in debt and $1.4 Billion annual dividend . . . MSTR is in big trouble unless BTC magically starts growing by 5-8% a year.
My strategy -- I sold all bitcoin, will buy back with MSTR goes bankrupt or bleeds out most of it's bitcoin holdings. Their financial engineering is about to collapse.

It's predictable that it will be volatile like this. And quite obvious we hit a bear market. But with other assets and the markets so high, interest rates kept steady and and looming debt crisis, we may be in for an unprecedented ride. BTC was started in the Great Recession but it has yet to go through a recession while being heavily trade; we may be in for a shocking surprise when the money dries up.

This coming from the same people that told you BTC was hitting $250K-500K this year and Donald Trump was going to skyrocket BTC.
Bitcoin has the same exactly value and utility at $5K that it does at $60K.
