Prices are range-bound right now. Everyone’s fixated on ETFs, rates and macro trends, but nobody knows where the next big breakout is headed.Truth be told, most folks hyping an incoming bull run would panic sell if BTC falls 10%. Are we truly bullish, or is everyone here just pretending they won’t fold on a pullback?

Privilege tax? It’s a privilege to have money. GTFO. I haven’t bought BTC in a while now but today I buy more

It generally is. When a risk off starts it starts with whatever is considered the riskiest (AKA the one likely to lose the most value rapidly) BTC & crypto fit that description. Then when people regain an appetite for risk they look for the assets with best opportunity for rapid & massive growth. Again BTC & crypto.

Buy 21 million BTC - it'll still plummet.

The time to sell L1s for AI was when BTC was over 100k. Now is the time to rotate back. Don't sell low to buy high.

It's a trading sub, so I'll post some trades. Sold the IBIT $50 ($88.0K BTC) and $55 ($96.8K) calls expiring 21 Aug 2026, and the IBIT $60 ($105.6K) calls expiring 18 Dec 2026.

People are generally stupid and can't keep a cool head, they are driven by short term feelings and they always think the best idea is to buy whatever is doing well now and it will just continue to do exactly the same
In truth for long term investment the best thing is the opposite, buy what is down. I have 3 pillars of my portfolio: Stocks, gold and silver, and Bitcoin and Monero. I invest each month and I always buy whatever has done worse of those, right now since BTC, gold and silver are all down I have been buying only those for the past 2 months, before that when BTC was close to ATH and gold and silver were crazy high I was buying stocks. In the long term it pays off I am in profit of everything I have been doing this for roughly 5 years

The use case is a big topic in itself, I agree that most cryptos have absolutely no reason to exist, BTC specifically does on the other hand. It has very clear use cases. Question is if it gets used for it and of the user base grows.
Short term OPs trade might work. But he invested in BTC at a higher price and is ultimately selling an asset at the 200 WMA and is buying into section of the stock market that has stocks with a monthly RSI of 99.
This is generally a very bad idea.

Yeah that would be stupid as fuck. I have had Nvidia, AMD and TSMC since 2019, I have taken some profits but mostly keep holding them, I recently sold some of my holdings to buy more BTC close to 60k, I am selling something that I am +200% profit in to buy something that is 50% under it's ath, that seems like the smart move to me.

Hey. For an exchange app, I’d look at what you actually need day to day: buying, sending, swapping, spending, and keeping the interface simple enough that you don’t make mistakes.
CoinRabbit fits more on the active-use side. You can manage crypto, exchange it, spend it, and borrow against supported assets from one app. For long-term BTC you don’t touch, cold storage still makes sense. But for crypto you actually move or use, having wallet + exchange + crypto-backed loans together can be much cleaner.

“Why invest if you’re afraid to lose?”. Your comparison is idiotic. Akin to gambling. Might as well throw all it down on the color red on roulette, right?
Most risk averse investors, tolerate \*some\* risk, that is not to say I’m okay losing it all. “Losses are possible”. No, 100% losses are not tolerable, to anyone of sound mind considering investing.
Ideally, we invest because we want it to grow and assume it will. ETFs and mutual funds are very safe sound investment vehicles, that carry far less risk with diversifying. That is what a lot of us here are doing with BTC. Diversifying. Going “all in” on one strategy is bold, prepare to cop wild swings in your portfolio with many down months. If that’s not for you? Consider diversifying to lower your risk tolerance.

A \*lot\* of people were in BTC as an inflation hedge, and the thesis has simply not held up.

We're still up 4x since the FTX scam imploded and NPCs are bearish, this is a very good sign. We will see the same sentiment when BTC 'cRaShEs!!' from 400k to 200k, even though 200k will still be 4-5x the bottom we're currently forming.

I bought 1 BTC for 60, sold for 72, then bought 1 for 65 and sold for 78
Now I bought 1 for 65, hopefully to sell at 70+ :D
I made quite a bit of money in just four months, it's much more than my average salary.

Its a ponzi scheme. They have to issue new bonds to pay off the old ones. The bonds are valued MTM based on supply/demand. If demand goes down (because of BTC price) then they must issue more thus starting a crash that could end in the debt becoming worthless and eventually they are unable to raise anything and suddenly the company is bankrupt.
