I've got $100k-ish of margin and my portfolio is *very heavy* BTC and BTC related ETFs.. so I'm no stranger to the game.

I used Sats Terminal to borrow, If you hold native BTC you get like 3% Interest per year on borrow. No need for KYC.

The only thing that matters in that regard is to have more BTC that the day before.

high liquidity coins like BTC or ETH are best for scalping but low-cap altcoins will chop you up regardless of how good the setup looks

I totally understand that. Same for me but the other way. I've never been able to get any progress with indexes. And my BTC models always look good on testing and heldout but when I deploy them love they always fail!
I'm working on a high frequency execution model (100ms) for Bitcoin. Still getting orderbook data from Hyperliquid so that I can train the models.
How do you build your BTC models?

Well Ai can actually use BTC without trust (like physical gold).

yeah, it should be fine as long as Trust Wallet sends you to the real Paybis checkout.
just check how much BTC you’re actually getting before you pay. the card fee, exchange rate and network fee can make it more expensive than it first looks.
I’d test with a small amount first. and obviously, Paybis may ask for ID, but nobody should ever ask for your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

Why does the BTC calculation change so quickly, even within a few seconds?

THORChain does native BTC swaps from USDC, no wrapping. Check if the liquidity depth fits your size though.

Getting Rich and Staying Rich are 2 different Things.
I'm all in btc right now, but I could see myself buying some boring SP500 when my networth reaches some funny big numbers.
My Idea is to switch to 70-80% BTC , 20-30% SP500 in the future, just to have SOME other stuff besides BTC.

price predictions do not mean "bull market"
you got any prediction for BTC from 50k to 1 million. Your choice on what you want to tell yourself the entire market believed is your choice.

Partly true, I would argue the REASON we didn’t have a blow off top. People seem to forget BTC is a very liquid assets and responds to economic outlook more than most other assets. We had a very bad economic outlook the whole bull run, for me this was the reason the cycle was not incredible. We had no blow off top due to rates,FED, general economy etc.
This is also fluid so next cycle may be better economically which will mean a blow off top. People saying institutions don’t let it happen. I mean brotha look on the S&P chart, we are in a blow off top from a 37 year bull run… if people think gains like this is common in the market they haven’t done their history. If buffet had gains like this for most of his journey he would be a trillionaire

that's true, but I think BTC is at all time lows and I took at 50% LTV, so its safe until BTC just crashes to 25k to 30k

Start with something simple: put **$200** on **Kraken** and watch it for 12 months.
A beginner‑friendly allocation might look like:
* **50% BTC**
* **20% ETH**
* **15% SOL**
* **10% XRP**
* **5% KAS**
All crypto lives on blockchains and requires **private keys** to move.
On an exchange, the platform holds the keys.
With **self‑custody**, you hold the keys yourself, usually stored as a **24‑word seed phrase**.
Anyone who gets your seed phrase can take your crypto, so beginners are often safer starting on a top‑tier exchange like Kraken or Kraken Pro.
Learn the basics early:
* Blockchain fees
* Exchange fees
* Spreads
* Stop loss orders
* Self custody wallets
* Seed phrases
* Passphrases
* Hardware wallets, Ledger and Trezor are well known hardware wallet brands.
Avoid **hot, web and extension wallets**.
Assume most people online want to scam you, hack you, or trick you into giving up your seed phrase.
**NEVER** enter a seed phrase online or record electronically as text or image.... **NEVER**!
Always use official websites, double check URLs, and be extremely careful with anything you download.
Good internet security software is strongly recommended.
Be ready for **50 percent or more price swings**.
And be aware that simply HODLing right now has a higher chance of losing money, although nobody knows what the market will look like in a year.
**DO NOT INVEST MORE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE!!!!**

Another day, another mining pool collapse. I've been tracking crypto trades and the pattern is clear: mining stocks are way more volatile than just holding BTC.
Poolin was huge during the last bull run. Now they're filing for bankruptcy. This is why I don't touch mining stocks anymore - too many variables (energy costs, regulations, competition).
Just buy and hold BTC if you believe in crypto. The miners will keep rug pulling retail. 📉

The problem is that ETH's 2025 ATH was only about $75 higher than its 2021 ATH. That's essentially a flat cycle.
If ETH had rallied to $8k or $10k, then a 60% correction would still have left us around $4k. Instead, ETH barely made a new high, yet still collapsed roughly 68%, from about $4,950 to $1,550.
That has shaken my confidence in ETH investors. I still believe the asset itself is fundamentally undervalued, but that view clearly isn't shared by enough market participants. Either that, or there are simply too many leveraged traders who become forced sellers whenever the market turns.
Ironically, I'm more bearish on ETH's price than I am on Ethereum itself because I no longer trust the behavior of many ETH holders. It feels like too many people are just waiting to dump everything around $4k after getting burned before.
If ETH is ever going to flip BTC, that cycle of panic selling and repeated round trips has to end.

Bitcoin is at $63K. Here's why I borrowed cash instead of selling BTC & missing the run to $100K.
