Bisher alles problemlos.

0.15 BTC doesn’t sound like much. But it’s probably going to be worth over a million $ by the time I retire

1 whole BTC won't be worth $10 million in 2045 so we can start with that. Inflation is up 65% in the past 20 years and it's reasonable to expect a 5x adoption of BTC over the next 20 years. Knowing those 2 things, it's REASONABLE to assume a BTC price between $525k (floor) and $2 million (ceiling)

>Data. There are only 3 pos chains that have survived a decade.
bro... you start with "Data" and then give the most tiny inconsequential meaningless dataset....
PoS are newer than PoW, of course there are less that lasted a decade, that isn't a meaningful measurement of anything.
>There are dozens of pow chains still around from a decade ago.
And besides BTC, LTC, DOGE, DASH, XMR, and ETC, how many PoW chains that launched at that time are dead? All of them.
>And generally pos chains are replaceable.
???????????
>When new tech comes along it’s far more likely for a POS chain to shut down than it is a pow chain.
?????????
lol... literally all the new tech is PoS and when new tech comes out, none of the old chains are shutting down. What sort of fantasy world is your head stuck in?
Are you being serious in this thread or are you trolling?

I have asked chatgpt the following:
Assuming Bitcoin follows Giovanni Santostasi’s Power Law fairly closely, how much BTC would someone accumulate if they DCA’d **$500 every month from August 2026 until August 2045**? I’m interested in the total BTC accumulated, not the portfolio value.
Below the answer by chatgpt which in my view is mindblowing considering that we are looking at a 20y time horizon and a constant monthly DCA ratio of USD 500 - i mean that shows how cheap you get the same amount of Bitcoin today!!:
Assuming Bitcoin follows Santostasi’s Power Law and you buy **$500 worth of BTC on the 1st of every month**:
**Period:** August 2026 – August 2045
**Monthly investment:** $500
**Number of purchases:** 229
**Total invested:** $114,500
Using Santostasi’s Power Law as the price model, you would accumulate approximately:
**≈ 0.15 BTC (around 15 million satoshis).**
The model would imply roughly these Bitcoin prices:
August 2026: \~$144k/BTC
August 2030: \~$440k/BTC
August 2035: \~$1.5M/BTC
August 2040: \~$4.3M/BTC
August 2045: \~$10.3M/BTC
Because the price increases so much over time, most of the BTC is accumulated during the first few years. Later on, each $500 purchase buys only a very small fraction of a Bitcoin.
If the model were correct, the final **0.15 BTC** would be worth roughly **$1.5 million** by August 2045.
Of course, the Bitcoin Power Law is a long-term regression model, **not a prediction or guarantee**. The actual outcome could be significantly different.

Traders seem to be noticing recent outperformance of ETH over BTC.
We have seen this translating to ETH volume on exchanges flipping BTC volume.
A month ago volume ratio was 40%. Now its 70%.

I hope you're joking.
Right now, 1 BTC trades for about 33.25 ETH, even though there are only a little over 6 ETH for every 1 BTC in circulation. That is still a 5.54× Bitcoin Snowflake Premium.
I'll start calling it massive ETH outperformance when the Bitcoin Snowflake Premium falls to 3× or 2×. At a 2× Snowflake Premium, 1 BTC would trade for roughly 12 ETH.
Ideally, the Bitcoin Snowflake Premium falls to 1×, where 1 BTC trades for about 6 ETH based purely on supply. And if ETH ever earns a premium of its own, 1 BTC for 4 ETH would be a beautiful flippening ratio.

Last I saw he went quiet around the time BTC started its last big run, probably just living off the stack and doesn't need the internet clout anymore. If he kept at it from 2017 he's sitting on a ridiculous amount by now, no way he didn't retire early

The era of wild casino swings is fading. Bitcoin is finally putting on a suit.
Hey everyone,
While the internet is flooded with loud panic headlines and temporary market noise, the long-term structural architecture of Bitcoin tells a completely different story.
If you look closely at the data, the massive soul-crushing percentage drops of the past are flattening. Every cycle, the crashes get milder, and the recoveries get steadier. Fidelity analysts pointed out beautifully that each Bitcoin cycle has smaller ups and smaller downs than the one before it. This isn't a death spiral—it's maturity.
We are currently trapped between two fascinating macro narratives:
1. The classic 4-year halving cycle is still functioning and we are just navigating the natural macro winter phase (supported by analysts from Galaxy Digital and Morgan Stanley).
2. The old cycle rules are dead because Wall Street's ETFs now hold over 1 million BTC, changing the game from a retail playground to an institutional long-game.
The era of easy, lawless wild-west gains is fading, and Bitcoin is transitioning into a mature treasury asset class.
I put together a deep-dive visual breakdown analyzing this exact identity crisis, the shrinking crash pattern, and how smart capital is absorbing the supply behind the scenes.
If you want to explore the full analysis, you can watch it here: [https://youtu.be/b3vvmFK0W20?si=Bkv-kTszWSLxYMDH](https://youtu.be/b3vvmFK0W20?si=Bkv-kTszWSLxYMDH)
Would love to hear your macro perspective: Do you believe institutional liquidity has officially broken the classic 4-year halving cycle rules? Let's discuss!

I trade BTCUSDT on 2H timeframe. When a trade goes my way for 2-3 candles (on 2H), too afraid that the trade might reverse an I might end up in a loss... thus I move my SL to breakeven. But the 2H timeframe has big wicks, and I just get stopped out at breakeven by a wick and then the move continues.
Entering the trade after getting stopped out is risky as it places my entry point much closer to the trade momentum end, thus increasing my probability of getting a loss in the 2nd entry.

Context: I momentum trade longs and shorts, and keep moving my TP towards higher profits (eg. in the case of longs, I would move my TP higher) when the price moves in my direction.

What suggestion do you have for me to fix this?
