I lost my key for 50 BTC. Back then I thought I’d be embarrassed if that’s all the Bitcoin I had. But it would be worth $3-4 million now. Worst mistake of my adult life. Every bit counts

Crypto never sleeps (24/7/365). BTC has logged more active trading hours since 2009 than stocks have over 50 years.

I’ve had the same bitcoin since 2016
The easiest way to avoid selling is to micro DCA
I buy $.25 worth of BTC every 60 minutes. It comes out to $180 a month.
It’s barely anything at all, but it’s enough to stop me from wanting to sell. When the balance reaches 0.002 BTC it auto transfers free of charge to my hardware wallet.

🇮🇳 Greetings from India!
I'm from India, and I've been following Waqar Zaka's WEEX TradFi Challenge from the very beginning. I was an active member of his Telegram community during the challenge, and I personally witnessed the trades being shared in real time. I even took some of the trades myself while following along, which made the entire experience much more educational than simply watching from the sidelines.
The attached trade history is one of the reasons I stayed engaged. Instead of making vague claims, the challenge documented trades across BTC, ETH, LINK, XRP, BNB, DOGE, SOL, and many other pairs over multiple days. Having a complete trade record to review made it easier to study entries, exits, and overall performance.
During the challenge, the publicly shared audit showed around 74%. From following the updates in the Telegram group, I also heard Waqar Zaka explain that the figure was lower after fees and other deductions compared with the raw trading results.
Another thing I'd like to mention is WaqarZaka.net . I joined the course because I wanted to improve my understanding of crypto trading, and I found it genuinely useful. What I like most is that it isn't something that was created once and forgotten new educational content and improvements continue to be added, so it keeps evolving with the market. Whether you're new to crypto or already trading, having access to structured learning alongside a community makes a big difference.
One thing I respect about Waqar Zaka is that he has built a community where people can learn, discuss markets, and follow challenges together instead of just relying on hype. Seeing people from different countries participate shows how far the community has grown.
As someone from India, it's great to see a crypto educator from our region building an international audience. I hope more people discover WaqarZaka.net, explore the educational resources themselves, and make up their own minds after going through the material.
The Excel sheet attached contains the publicly shared trade history from the challenge. Feel free to review it yourself.
Wishing Waqar Zaka and the entire community all the best for the next challenge!

To my uncle, that BTC is pristine collateral. To my cousin, it’s basically a lottery ticket that solves his immediate, real-world problems.
You can replace BTC in the first sentence with literally any investment and it'll still hold true. People have different priorities. And inheritance, whether in cash, gold, real estate, stocks, etc. is going to be used according to these priorities. There's nothing new about this.

Didn't Claude Mythos already successfully hack the full BTC blockchain at some point?

If so, then BTC will almost certainly not have any value, because the "proof of work" basis for its economic value would already have become meaningless. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My uncle is in his late 60s. Smart guy, bought a decent chunk of BTC back in 2013 and just left it in cold storage. To him, it's his retirement safety net and proof he was right about sound money.
Last month I was helping him get his paperwork in order, and we had to figure out how to actually pass this on to my cousin (his 24-year-old son).
That’s when it hit me. My cousin doesn’t care about Austrian economics, the halving, or fiat debasement. He’s drowning in student loans and trying to save for a house. To my uncle, that BTC is pristine collateral. To my cousin, it’s basically a lottery ticket that solves his immediate, real-world problems.
When that transfer eventually happens, a lot of those coins are probably getting sold. Not because he’s a "paper hand" or doesn't believe in the tech, but because he has real life stuff to pay for.
We spend so much time in this sub talking about institutional adoption, ETFs, and "never selling," but we kind of ignore the demographic reality. A massive amount of early adopter BTC is going to change hands in the next 10-20 years. The heirs inheriting it won't have the same psychological anchor or conviction as the people who bought at $100 or $1,000.
I'm not selling a single sat. Long term thesis is intact for me. But it made me realize that "HODLing" is often just a phase in someone's financial life cycle, not a permanent personality trait.
Curious how you guys are actually handling this.
If you’ve been around a while, how are you structuring your inheritance so your kids don't just dump it all at once or get scammed trying to access it?
And if you’re younger, be honest: if you inherited 5 BTC tomorrow, are you holding it forever, or are you selling a chunk to buy a house or pay off debt?

Not sure. I lost faith in BTC when it decoupled from the tech bull run even with all the ETF and institutional adoption.
People cite the four year cycle being a catalyst for the recent price drop, but it could also be AI stocks taking up market liquidity.
That being said it could easily hit another ATH. Clarity act and more crypto friendly legalisation could be crucial

Will alt 💩coins climb when BTC finally does? Historical YES, but is it guaranteed. NO
Again no one knows anything.
Alts will be dead if this 💩 doesn't turn around in the near future.

last thing you want near these lows. A strong BTC is a sign that crypto n general is strong. This rising ratio near lows with low volume is not good at all.

Don't worry they won't buy now, when BTC is cheap, they'll buy in a few years when it's at 150k (but you are correct that they will panic sell when it drops)
