It's funny because people still say "no value," while there's more work than ever happening around native BTC infrastructure and use cases.

Erster Fehler Girokonto: Direkt aufs Tagesgeld!
Dann 1 BTC kaufen und mehrere Jahre liegen lassen.
Gold verkaufen.
Rest Notgroschen und sparen oder ETF.
Dann im Immo Bereich weiterbilden und die erste Immo kaufen.

To be fair, BTC is superior to gold when you look at its properties on paper. I’m not surprised it would come to that conclusion unless you guide it with your own investing principles.

I used to think that too. I think that's starting to change though, as more people explore ways to expand native BTC use cases without changing Bitcoin itself.

I purchase fractional shares of BTC weekly, and once a month I transfer to my cold wallet. Been doing this for a few years!

Routing through wBTC first changes nothing. wBTC is a different token from BTC, so BTC > wBTC is still counted as if its any other crypto-to-crypto swap, then wBTC > USDT is *another* disposal. So you gave him 2 taxable events instead of 1 lol. 😂
If the asset changes, its a disposal. Wrapping, bridging, swapping doesn't get around it, each step where you give up one token and receive another is its own event with its own gain/loss calculation.
The only tax-free moves are buying with fiat, holding, and transferring between wallets you own.

This might not have anything to do with BTC.. but how exactly did you become a registered sex offender?

I’m guessing you can’t afford to own BTC or you have no understanding of it because I was both once and now I’m fanatic!

Here’s my advice. You will save yourself a ton of stress and risk exposure if instead of lump sum buying, you ‘dollar/cost average’ into exposure by purchasing a small amount daily. I have been running a small daily DCA for a long time and if you believe it BTC and its long term value there’s no reason to stop buying ever, just buy more or less based on the market. When you buy daily you create exposure but you average your entry price across a long span reducing the volatility potential of your actual position value. Right now is historically a very good entry, as we are below the 200W EMA. Think about it!

Sounds like you haven't read up on blockchains other than BTC. Solana is doing 1000 tx/s with ease.

Don't understand why OP is worried about Tainted coins while buying BTC p2p.
If you buy p2p, sell p2p.
If OP is gonna sell KYC in an exchange, just buy from that exchange.
P2p bitcoin is more expensive.

Have you never used the lightning network. It's a pear to pear network for low cost/instant bitcoin transfers. The transactions happen on a separate network. Then you can use a service like boltz to sent your lightning wallet to BTC. So the coins you end up with are not the ones you put into the lightning network. It's been around for years. Worth reading up on.

Assuming 100% uptime and actually free electricity and you are pool mining (FPPS) but not taking into account any pool fees an Avalon Q running in eco mode, when Bitcoin is ~65K USD, earns about $1.75 a day in BTC. That's an ROI of ~24 months.

Are you watching ETH/BTC? because it just broke out. ETH also refused to make new lows in the 2022 bear market and was extremely resilient to BTC as it continued to drop. Even if BTC capitulates in Q4, ETH might not follow. It will also outperform BTC over the coming years due to macro risk turning for the first time since 2020.

if you’re retirement fund is under like 500k it really doesn’t matter if it’s all in BTC and that’s also not a retirement fund.

Yours is one of the few cases where investing in BTC actually makes sense. Stocks could be confiscated, and Ethiopia isn't known to be the most stable country in Africa unfortunately. BTC can't be taken from you, but in order to convert it back to fiat you might need to flee your country - which depending on your personal situation could either be an option or not, I don't really know.

Even with free electricity, mining today almost doesn’t rent. ASICs are expensive, depreciate quickly and the ROI is usually terrible. If you want to win BTC, it is usually better to buy it than to set up a mine.
