Just Google it.
Our June crypto update: current holding June 10, 2026 = .179 percent of Bitcoin.
"Owning 0.179 BTC places you firmly in the top 6% to 10% of all Bitcoin wallet addresses, and generally within the top 1% to 2% globally when measured against the total population of Bitcoin holders.
The exact breakdown of your standing can be viewed in two ways, both driven by the finite supply of 21 million Bitcoins:Top 6% – 10% of Addresses: When evaluating the total population of wallet addresses on the blockchain, holding > 0.1 BTC (and up to 1 BTC) puts you comfortably in this decile.
Top 1% of Owners:
The "0.28 Club" is a widely cited statistical benchmark in the community. If you divide the 21 million maximum possible Bitcoins by 1% of the global population, holding ~0.28 BTC theoretically guarantees you a spot in the richest 1% of the world's Bitcoin owners. "
Since 0.179 BTC (my current holding, I continue to DCA) is a significant fraction of this, you rank exceptionally high in global wealth distribution.

Well don't sell the BTC now that you have it. Just allocate more to your retirement portfolio to get it back to where you want it.
Also advice would be different depending on where you were at in life as far as age and retirement etc. Accidentally buying more BTC and overtaking your retirement at 20 years old when you only have $30k in retirement built up is one thing, while being 40 and overtaking a retirement portfolio that already had $500k in it is a different thing altogether. So without disclosing finer details where roughly are we talking about?

Selling now BTC to buy shares would not be good since BtC idnlow and shares are high.
But you can rebalance your dca to buy less btc and more of something else.

spent years to figure out bag holding is dead and that's why I like what these guys do

they actively rotate among alts every week and have been outperforming BTC and ETH since 2020 with annual return of 106%

Congrats!
My biggest advice: don’t obsess over whether you bought at the perfect price. Focus on accumulating over the next 5–10 years during the bear market.
Keep stacking a little from every paycheck, learn about self-custody, and ignore the day-to-day noise. One day you’ll look back and realise your first 0.005 BTC was the hardest, but your conviction will take time (at least 4 years) to build.

Your post is very USA-centric. People in so many parts of the world are already using BTC...many so called "underdeveloped" countries. Do a search. I'm not buying it expecting worldwide adoption any time soon (I'm in it for the long term store of value), but I understand the need. The average flthy rich people is not buying it to use it.

From 1 July onward, BTC has generally been printing higher swing lows, even though the advances have repeatedly stalled around the mid-$60k region.
Resistance around $66k–67k has repeatedly rejected price.
If BTC starts closing below the $63k–63.5k area (roughly where the 20D and 50D/200W corridor cluster meet), then the sequence of higher lows would be broken.
Buyers continue to step in earlier on each decline.
Sellers continue to defend roughly the same resistance.
Something eventually has to give. The next decisive move is likely to come from a break above $66k–67k or a loss of the $63k support cluster.

* Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) introduced a **new reporting framework** that focuses on **net Bitcoin exposure** rather than simply reporting its gross Bitcoin holdings.
* The new metrics subtract obligations from preferred stock and convertible debt, leaving a reported **net reserve of about $36.6 billion** after accounting for roughly **$22.3 billion** in senior claims.
# Why it matters
* The key message is that **not every bitcoin the company owns effectively belongs to common shareholders anymore**. As Strategy has issued more preferred stock and convertible debt to finance purchases, those investors have claims that sit ahead of common equity.
* This represents a maturation of the "Bitcoin treasury company" model. Investors now need to evaluate **balance sheet quality and capital structure**, not just the number of BTC held. Two companies with identical Bitcoin holdings can have very different value to common shareholders depending on how much debt and preferred equity they have outstanding.

I love how people think this is a good thing. The fact barely anyone else in the world holds a digital coin which has no tangible value is not a good thing... It means no one else is invested in it's worth and as such it's practically worthless. Ideally a lot more people would have some BTC so that it could be more freely traded and people would be invested in sharing it.

What the 2026 Data Actually Shows (Not Opinions)
Gold in 2026
- Gold hit $5,589/oz in January 2026 — the highest in modern history
- Gold is still trading around $4,000–$4,700/oz mid‑year
- Central banks bought 1,000+ tonnes for three straight years — a structural demand floor
- Gold is up 65–70% over the past year
- Volatility: ~15–20% (low)
Bitcoin in 2026
- Bitcoin peaked at $126,073 in October 2025
- BTC fell 47% to the $58,000–67,000 range by mid‑2026
- 2026 predictions range wildly from $38,000 to $250,000 — extreme uncertainty
- ETF outflows hit $4 billion in June, the worst month on record
- Volatility: 60–80% (very high)
---
⚖️ 2. Side‑by‑Side Comparison (Based on 2026 Conditions)
| Factor | Gold | Bitcoin |
|-------|-----------|-------------|
| 2026 performance | +65–70% (massive rally) | −20% YTD (drawdown) |
| Volatility | Low (15–20%) | Extremely high (60–80%) |
| Institutional flows | Record central‑bank buying | Record ETF outflows |
| Market structure | Stable, predictable | Highly uncertain |
| Crisis behavior | Rises during geopolitical shocks | Behaves like a risk asset |
| Long‑term upside | Moderate | Very high but speculative |
| Risk level | Low | High |
---
🧨 3. Economic Logic for a $100 Investment
If the goal is stability → Gold wins
Gold is:
- In a historic bull cycle
- Supported by central banks
- A proven inflation hedge
- Low volatility
- Benefiting from geopolitical tension
This is the “don’t lose sleep” option.
If the goal is upside lottery potential → Bitcoin wins
Bitcoin is:
- In a deep correction
- Historically rebounds hard after drawdowns
- Still has institutional adoption tailwinds
- Capable of 2×–5× moves in bull cycles
This is the “maybe it moons, maybe it dies” option.
---
📉 4. Today’s Rhythmic Pattern Forecasting (Based on Cycles)
Gold’s pattern (2025–2026)
- Massive surge → consolidation → structural support
- Analysts expect $4,700–$6,300 by late 2026
- Macro environment (inflation, deficits, geopolitical tension) still favors gold
Bitcoin’s pattern (2025–2026)
- Classic post‑ATH drawdown (−50%)
- ETF outflows signal institutional caution
- Forecasts range from $38k bottom to $250k top — extreme divergence
Bitcoin is in a “chaotic middle” phase.
---
🧠 5. The Rational Conclusion for a $100 Position
If you want the most economically sensible, low‑risk choice:
👉 Physical gold
Because the 2026 data shows:
- Strong institutional demand
- Low volatility
- Clear macro tailwinds
- Predictable behavior
If you want asymmetric upside and accept volatility:
👉 Bitcoin
Because:
- BTC historically rebounds after deep drawdowns
- Halving cycles still matter
- Institutional adoption is long‑term bullish
If you want the smartest risk‑adjusted move:
👉 Split the $100: $70 gold / $30 BTC
This mirrors what many institutional portfolios do in 2026:
Gold for stability, Bitcoin for optionality.
(Again — not financial advice, just analysis.)
