That's not how it works in this market. Crypto futures are mostly a cash settled market not a physically settled market.
Physical coin settlements for futures is actually pretty rare in crypto.
So no, you don't trade more BTC than what's available on the market. You just trade with what's available on the other side of the trade.
But you do trade more volume and trade sizes than what people actually have in their pockets, because of margins.
So between futures and bots, we always get the illusion that there's way more money and move volume in this market than there actually is.

Yes, I understand your point. Diversification is everything. It looks bad to tell people to buy index funds when you are all in BTC. Are you a registered representative?

Now there's more paper BTC than ever. From now on, prices go up when there's a delivery/physical squeeze.

The long term footing is the investments and second hand/refurbishment market, as those are unlikely to disappear. So the question of GameStop's future lies in the cash, BTC, eBay shares, retro gaming, gaming retail items and storefronts. It will require more than just collectibles, although collectibles are likely to continue forever.
If you had to look at Collectors, who owns PSA, reaching a valuation of $4.3b - what does their long term future look like? Bearing in mind their entire business is focused on collectibles.

At current valuations BTC is roughly 15% of my net worth. At its highs it jumps to 30-40%. I dollar cost average only. I do not pay attention to prices and I do not time the market. I’ve been purchasing since 2018 and I’m happy with the strategy. It’s safe, risk averse and Im not investing any more than in willing to lose(although I’d be pretty upset if BTC goes to 0). I also contribute to 401k,l and max out my IRA, both of which strictly invest in 3 different broad market index funds. I’m on track to retire by 65 without crypto, assuming there’s no major societal collapse and the stock markets crashes. At that point my greatest investments are my firearms. 😜

the risk I see is LSTs becoming store of value instead of ETH. Otherwise I tend to agree with your conservatism. I think part of why the monetary premium of ETH is lower than BTC is because of the uncertainty about policy constantly evolving. just my 2c I am certainly not part of the gigabrain debates

Hey everyone,
I’ve been using GoMining for a while and figured I’d share how it works, since a lot of people still think Bitcoin mining means buying expensive ASICs, dealing with electricity bills, noise, and constant maintenance.
How GoMining works:Instead of running physical hardware yourself, you buy a Digital Miner. These are digital assets (basically tokenized hashrate) backed by real Bitcoin mining equipment running in their data centers. You own a share of the computing power, and they handle everything — hardware, maintenance, cooling, etc.
You choose the power (TH/s) and energy efficiency (W/TH) of your miner. Every day you receive BTC rewards based on that power. Electricity/maintenance fees are automatically deducted from the rewards, so what you see is your net daily BTC.
No setup, no noisy machines at home, no huge upfront hardware costs. You can start small, upgrade later, withdraw BTC whenever you want, and there’s also a whole ecosystem (wallet, Miner Wars game mode, cards, etc.) if you want to go deeper.
It’s not “get rich overnight” — it’s more like a straightforward way to get exposure to real Bitcoin mining without the usual headaches.Referral link if you want to try it:
What you get if you use the link:
* \+5% extra mining power on your first miner purchase (up to 25 TH)
* 5% cashback on your first miner
* 1 month of VIP Platinum+ for free (if activated within 30 days)
What I get:
A small royalty (around 5% depending on level) on the miners and upgrades you buy through the link, plus a bit from electricity fees over time. Classic referral setup — you get bonuses, I get a cut if you decide to buy something.
Feel free to ask any questions. Happy to explain more about how the rewards, fees, or upgrades work if you’re curious.
Not financial advice, just sharing something I’ve been using.

Some emotional support to my fellow bag holders
I know it’s always “after this we’re going to melt faces” but I truly believe when October comes BTC will start its bull run for 3-4 years.
We haven’t had a full BTC bull market with institutional money. Real estate growth has slowed dramatically, Gold/Silver had its rally, AI stocks had their rally, BTC is next.
By now everyone who knows anything about investing knows BTC goes up hard and fast. As soon as that fuse is lit, CRO will just ride bitcoins coattails to the moon!
We may not see $2.71 but I firmly believe we’ll be back over .50 in 12 months. October is when the fuse is lit. Hang in there 🫡
