I don’t think the amount of money from people that would use btc on cold wallets would sustain a BTC price of more than $1000. And if they aren’t using cold wallets then they might as well use tokenized RWAs

If you have a Robinhood, Fidelity, Scwhab, WeBull, or other brokerage account, you can buy either IBIT or FBTC.
These are both 1:1 BTC ETFs. They trade like a stock. No need to keep a wallet. No need to report digital asset transactions every year on your tax return.
Also, easier to buy or sell (but subject to market trading hours, typically 9:30-4pm EST M-F).

Baby vs Supernova type of comparison, back in 2010. Now that they're somewhat similar in size, looks like Bitcoin is falling behind. I don't expect BTC to outpace S&P in the future at all. Basically everybody that wanted in had plenty of ways at this point, even ETN/ETCs... yet we're still stagnating.
And don't come at be with the 4 years cicle bs now, please. That is some woodoo type shit. It was like that in the past, but past isn't a valid indicator for the future.

Hmm interesting I’m not really a fan of RWAs for the same reasons I don’t like paper gold or BTC ETFs. Why would I pay a custodian to not only hold the asset or worse a claim to it but also hold my money and I get… a token. It seems like a way to strip people of not just their money but the assets as well, part of the you’ll own nothing and like it narrative. Idk to me I see more people than ever interested in tangible things that’s why collectibles and things like watches have sky rocketed.

Depende del plazo. A largo plazo, minimo 80% BTC y el resto a tradicional. Y a mas bajo plazo, podes bajar la proporcion.

BTC INTC 95p for .25 (+.75).
I decided to jump back in and STO INTC 94p for .25 and went for a run. Then semis decided to die? Looks like I'll be getting assigned INTC at CB 93.

Not sponsored—I just feel like a lot of people still don’t know Binance.US Boost exists.
I currently have some BTC and stablecoins sitting on Binance.US while I wait for opportunities to deploy them back into the market. Rather than letting everything sit completely idle, I’ve been putting eligible assets into Boost to earn additional crypto rewards.
The rates change depending on the event and how many people participate, but there are no user fees, rewards are distributed weekly, and you can remove your assets when you need them. Binance.US also says the assets placed into Boost aren’t lent out or used for trading.
The only real inconvenience is that you can’t trade or stake those assets while they’re enrolled. You have to remove them from Boost first, which is worth keeping in mind if you’re waiting to make a quick market move. But there is no cool down period to remove them.
It’s not life-changing money, and there’s obviously still the normal risk of holding assets on a centralized exchange, but it’s a solid way to earn something while waiting to deploy them.
The yield has honestly been better than almost any other passive opportunity I’ve seen recently. With the current SEI Boost event, I’ve earned around $200 from roughly $5,000 split between BTC, USDT, and USDC.

If you zoom out back to 2010, BTC up 64,000,000%, S&P up 800%.

You're wrong, you can use DEX aggregator like https://switcher.finance/, it has better rates than CEX and no counterparty risk (I lost 6 figures on MEXC when i deposited BTC to just convert to USDT..)

You're not using Bitcoin if you're dealing with exchanges regularly. Stick to onchain and lightning and build a reserve so that you don't have to constantly change between fiat and BTC. Pay your suppliers with BTC whenever you can. Anything else is just optics.
In the end you have to ask yourself why you want to use Bitcoin in your business. If it's only to attract crpytobros only to immediately swap back to fiat, please just don't. Bitcoin has to serve your business, not the other way around. Use it to save on payment processing fees, accelerate payments, and diversify the assets held by your business.

staking BTC does not exist, it s POw and not POS.
What exists is lending with the risk of default of the counterparty.

Maybe your problem is not the product but poor timing? If you want to stop losing money on blue chip tokens, such as ETH or BTC, then stop selling them when you are on minus. They will go back up! Maybe it will take some time but they will.
It's different story about pure meme lottery tickets. If the token has nothing but speculative value to provide and the community dies, or rogue team pulls the liquidity, then you should consider selling on minus. At least you get something, instead of getting zero.
If you want to take more risk and win big, I suggest to look for new project launches, do you own research and bet on new projects that provide value. Good luck!

Here's the reality, with your disposable income and where we are currently with BTC you will never get to 1-10, but that's not a big deal. If you believe that BTC is going to become this global asset where governments and tradfi are soon to be accumulating in mass, whatever you are buying now could be huge in the not too distant future.
If your goal is to accumulate as much BTC as possible, here are a couple ideas.
1. I actually made a thread about this, but perhaps you could look into churning checking account bonus offers, there are many available right now that are quite easy to hit. Chase for instance has a $400 bonus for $1,000 in direct deposits, this is super easy money that you could throw into your stack.
2. Is there any way you could increase your income or maybe pick up a side hustle? Maybe go get a job delivering pizzas a couple nights per week at a busy restaurant, at the right place you could probably pull $100 in a few hours of work. This might not sound like much, but you do this 2-3x/week and invest all or most of that and it would make a massive difference with what you could potentially be stacking.
3. Is it possible to lower your cost of housing by getting a roommate or maybe moving back in with family or something? This also could make a huge difference but may not be realistic.

I compare bitcoin loan platforms for a living, so I am the last person against borrowing. But this one is a clear no.
A second mortgage means the debt sits on your house. If BTC drops 50%, and it does that regularly, but the debt stays full size and the monthly payment too. Then you sell your coins at the bottom to save the house. This is how people lose both.
And "quick and easy" plus "the charts say October" is not a plan but a casino ticket.
A better strategy would be to DCA every month with money you can afford to lose and keep your house out of it. Borrowing against bitcoin you already own, at low LTV, for a real need can make sense. But borrowing against your home to buy bitcoin, never.
