I'm 31 and just put my work savings into BTC

I'm playing on MTT Sports. At the beginning, there was a good tournament with a 1 BTC prize pool, but now they've removed it and you can only win their token. Still, the gameplay is pretty smooth.

Sold some in 2024(roughly 40%) that I bought in 2019 to help with a down payment for an apartment I bought in 2025. Still got around .12 BTC that I'm hodling

If I were to buy Bitcoin, I'd only go for Hodl Hodl when someone is selling for no premium on the price with Revolut as their payment method. No KYC, self custody and yadayada. Your country's tax agency will not even know you own BTC.

I treat my BTC like my I treat my 401k... I just pretend I don't have my 401k because I'm not old enough to take money out anyway. It's for when I retire in 25+ years. Of course, I will need to sell my 401k holdings (and my BTC) later in life, but I am not stacking them to spend tomorrow... I'm stacking for retirement.

I’m not sure how that question relates to the thread though. My response was refuting your statement that BTC can never become money because it is deflationary.

A lot of people search and search for the lowest fees which I mean hey that's great but I would say pick something that you like and UNDERSTAND. Stacking sats even with some fees is stacking sats and sometimes the spread is the real criminal. Just stack over time and you'll be good. Kraken- I use them sometimes for other crypto they are really good. If you use the pro option it'll have lower fees than regular kraken
Coinbase - I started here pretty basic but those fees had me move to kraken then fold then river. Pro has lower fees than regular coinbase

Your buy time if very bad. BTC is set to hit a low of 60k in the next few months, you should be buying at 58k and wait for the upside to minimize risk. Also you should expect to sell at 80-85k. pumping your life savings is incredibly dumb.
