my advice is to Instead of having 1 BTC, try to have 0.21 BTC.
This will give you a comfortable allocation.

I'd say Solana, Ethereum, BTC. And the next trend that we don't know about yet.

had a piece run on InvestorIdeas this week laying out something that's been core to how I trade both markets for years now. gold and crypto get treated like completely separate worlds, different crowd, different news cycle, different everything on the surface. structurally though, they're not
reason is simple once you actually sit with it. any large position, a fund building into gold or a whale building into BTC, has the exact same problem to solve, get size in or out without your own buying giving away the intention and moving price against you before you're done. that constraint doesn't care what the ticker says. Wyckoff mapped this a century ago on stock tape and it hasn't aged because it was never really about stocks in the first place
structure tells you where that's likely happening. order flow, CVD specifically, tells you whether the move behind it is real or just absorption. same read, gold futures or a BTC perpetual, the instrument changes and the tell doesn't
went deeper into the actual mechanics in the full piece if anyone wants to read it

If you were a whale with a massive stack of BTC and wanted to manipulate the market, the only safe way to do would be to run your own exchange.

I ran the calculations and agree. 10+ BTC if he sells the car, uses those funds for a lump sum buy, uses his would be gas money to increase his DCA, and lives on the street.

I think I was pretty clear:
If ETH is not the original chain, neither is BTC.

Don't let the goal of owning 1 BTC stop you from appreciating the progress you're already making. Most people never invest consistently at all. Focus on increasing your income, controlling expenses, and keep stacking at a pace you can actually sustain.

😂 dude you could have just put it into an index fund and be safer and more likely richer - over the last 2 years BTC is at -0.5% performance. lol.

First congrats on taking your first step, and BTC can be bought on almost any exchange and wallet, however I would recommend you to start with phantom (if you can't afford a cold wallet) and the ledger wallet(if you can afford a cold wallet) now I have informative pdf guides on both these wallets, telling you what they are, pros and cons, and how to set them up

Living in your car while you invest a few hundred per month in a single, highly speculative investment sounds like a solid plan. \~$6000 invested per year will easily reach 1-10 BTC in 5 years.

That 200 max you can put in, I say split into 2, 100 into BTC and the other 100 as emergency fund, and rather then suffer so you can afford BTC start a second income stream, maybe selling something or flipping Facebook stuff

A chain resurrected by BTC maxis to hurt Ethereum, it's not the true chain by any means. It's not being developed, and the security flaws are massive. Ignore ETC

Yes. I use many different ways to accumulate BTC, save it on a hidden wallet on a hardware wallet with passphrase and don't have any taxable transactions. Data leak from one exchange would just show some random buys, credit card usage and withdrawals.

Could you elaborate?
Is there a problem with BTC transfers even between MiCA licensed operators? Or did you mean between external wallets and MiCA?

The debt is in USD not BTC. Big difference. Fiat is backed by debt. The contractual obligation between two parties is what gives the currency value. If I give you a $100 loan and you agree to pay me back in one year $106 (6% interest) then we have both entered into a binding contract. This contractual obligation means that two parties have both agreed that the underlying currency (USD in this instance) has value. I'll use a counter example. You come to me and ask to borrow the turd from my toilet bowel. You say, "hey, I'll pay you back two turds next year.". I say, "no fucking way. Please keep the turd. I don't want it anyway". Only one party values the turd. The other party see's it as waste and does not want it. Thus, turd based money has no value. BTC isn't meant to act like Fiat. It's better to treat it like Gold or like stock in a company. Treat it like a commodity. It makes more sense that way. BTC doesn't need to replace Fiat. It just needs to behave like a store of value.
