How so? The scam was the lending platform, not the coin. The scammers also probably sold all coins they owned before shutting down. Probably most coins are lost anyway, 8 years later without any hope for a comeback.
I'd even argue it would be good for some people who got scammed - if they still have the keys left and BCC surges as a memecoin, they get reimbursed for the scam.
