There is no fair valuation in mind for such companies.
However, NIO is clearly winning if we examine what it offers to its users.
1. Battery Swap, a 3mins+ affair as compared to charging, which takes 30 mins and more.
2. BAAS, which lowers the purchase price of the EV for the buyers.
3. NIO uses the most premium hardware gadgets, which allows its users to have the longest lifespan when it comes to FSD. In fact, it is crossing into the L3 FSD category. Tesla will not qualify, as it is vision-only.
4. Lightest yet with the most space. This is evident in Onvo L80, L90, NIO ES8, ES9. Chinese residents love such configurations.
5. NIO Life is basically a Costco with social activities. It curates premium-quality goods and sells it on a group-buy basis. What does it really do? It reinforces the message that NIO is a brand you can trust for high quality.
6. Not getting NIO has a 5 star safety rating in both EU and Chinese driving tests.
Give NIO some time.
