A lot depends on how much intellectual effort you want to put in and your ability to act the opposite of your emotions, or not being too emotional in the first place (either way).
If you don’t want stress too much or research “hot” companies and sectors and deal with wild price swings, the whole MAG7 and legacy tech giants are wildly underpriced. MSFT, TSLA, NFLX, META, AMZN, and some others. These companies aren’t going away and they are using AI quite effectively -they just aren’t hot right now. Ideal for a “buy and forget about it” strategy.

I have a portfolio of 125 stocks and ETFs that aims to capture the gains from the transformation of the world. Basically all tech, broadly defined. Including “safe” things like AMZN NFLX MSFT META NEE and everything else from drones to lunar bases to nuclear to batteries, chip packaging, chip raw materials, memory, batteries, photonics, data centers, etc. Everything. $4 million buys a lot of stock. Yes, there could be another Covid, or a nuclear war, or some crash, but to me this is much less risk than btc. I have 4 short positions, including MSTR, and I sell puts and occasionally calls to be active. I actually enjoy learning about these technologies and companies.
When btc goes under $58k it’s going to be so fucked it’s not even funny. Will it ever come back from 50k or 35k or 25k? I have no idea. But the world moved on. Not to hate on Boomers (being a younger one) but btc is mostly a Boomer and Gen X thing. And just like fine china and 60s muscle cars, it’s just not that relevant to what’s exciting and desirable today.
