I find it hard to believe that most traders in the PSE fail to understand that there are people like us, investors, who are willing to play the long game and reap the benefits. We share the same strategy, as I too, get excited when a company I'm accumulating is getting battered and beaten to a pulp.
For the past years, I've been holding/accumulating the following in my portfolio:
GLO (Php 1,624 average; targetting to sell at Php 2,600 to Php 2,800 upon Mynt IPO. GLO owns 34% of Mynt and in its books; valuates Mynt at only 26b. Imagine is Mynt successfully IPOs at Php 10/sh with a 670b market cap, that could automatically valuate GLO's Mynt ownership at 227b; which hasn't been priced in bt the market yet)
SGP (Php 11.83 average; sold 40% of my holdings at 25 pesos, but still see a great potential due to its almost guaranteed msci index inclusion on Feb 2027. Will play the long game on this one and target to sell the rest of my shares at Php 50. With only a 200b market cap at 50 pesos, I believe this is realistically attainable given likely index inclusion)
**Remember PLUS reached roughly 270b market cap on its peak when it was included in the index. What more for this monopoly mammoth involved in providing power grid access to our entire nation. Php 50 is a conservative target for me.
ALI (Php 18.28 average; starting accumulating from Php 23 all the way down to 13 pesos. Will play the long game and target Php 30 on ALI when PSEI hits perhaps high 6k to low 7k levels)
CNVRG (Just starting to accumulate now at Php 9.80 range. This is kind of a no brainer for me given that it's still technically a growth stock with a decent div yield)
AC (Php 425 average; targetting to sell at 600 or after Mynt IPO which could greatly both propel my AC and GLO holdings)
DMC (Php 4.55 average; was able to sell 30% of my dmc shares at Php 12 last year, but again re-accumulating now at the 7 peso range. Dirt cheap for a dividend champion and It's a well-run company which pays a huge chunk of their earnings in dividends. For the past 6 years of holding DMC, I've enjoyed a 22% div yield except for 2026 of course; due to Semirara at risk of losing mining contract. But hey .30/sh bi-annualy is still good enough for me to hold on to it instead of selling it)
GTCAP (Php 452 average; boring company but extremely undervalued. Dividends aren't that great but potentially great upside to sell at Php 650 to 700 when market conditions improve)
URC (Php 59.93 average; dirt cheap and has a REIT-like dividend yield of 6.3 to 6.6% at current price. Will hold and target to sell at Php 90 on this one)
DDMPR (Php 1.58 average; I was one of the unfortunate subscribers of this upon IPO at Php 2.25, but kept on averaging down until the yield improved on this one. My worst REIT investment, but at least they pay out regular dividends and the company doesn't have any debt)
Anyway, I enjoy your posts and it makes me feel good to see a like-minded fellow investor. Cheers and good luck on your investment journey!
