Okay, I need someone to hold my hand and walk me through the specifics of the advantages of the CMA and choosing SPAXX over a traditional HYSA.
Are they both easily accessible? Do they both report the same for tax purposes? (1099 INT and taxed based off earned income or is there capital gains?) Do the rates typically follow the same path when they increase or decrease? Any feedback, advice or pros/cons would be greatly appreciated. I’m starting to build my emergency fund, sinking fund and then house down payment.
