It didn't help that for a while, they were really on top of the world with sneaker culture. They could release a pair of 1's with black laces instead of white and they would sell out and be 500+ on GOAT or Stock X after. They were pumping out some dogshit shoes and people were still buying them just because it was the thing to do, and Adidas was struggling to stay relevant in the scene as soon as Ye went nuts, especially with Human Races quickly losing any real market share.
Then it just kind of all died. People got tired of it, the constant drops became too much, and people weren't buying Breds for the 5th year in a row when they had 4 pairs. They gambled on the future and the bottom fell out on them
