Idle Data Gets a Price Tag Without Exposure: Vatsal Soin Files Fresh 0→1 Invention Patents for AI Superintelligence
Two linked Metainventions give the world's idle data five money lines: save, protect, earn, supply and prove. The 0→1 Doctrine governs live AI actions, while Band-Based Archive Triage, or BBAT, filed 23 September and 1 October 2026, sorts stored archives by metadata alone. Bands, not records, are offered, and sealed receipts give auditors an inspectable trail. Each line works alone or together; markets set the price.

ONE SCALE, ONE CHECK
The 0→1 Doctrine maps each measurable need, resource and limit to a band between 0 and 1. A governed AI action proceeds only inside an approved band; when unsure, a person decides; a sealed receipt records it. BBAT applies the same scale to stored data, sorting records by metadata without reading their content.
THE SILENT COST
Most organisations keep archives nobody opens. Storage, backup and security bills return every year, and so does breach exposure, while the records earn nothing. This is dark data: often a cost line that few have yet priced as an asset.
SAVE: SORT BEFORE YOU PAY
BBAT reads labels such as age, purpose, consent and legal hold, among others, never content, as the METADATA-ONLY TRIAGE axiom allows. Each record is retained, purged or promoted. Purging what no rule requires could trim storage bills and breach exposure, while legal holds go to a person first.
PROTECT: CHECK BEFORE THE LOSS
The Doctrine's gate compares a proposed AI action with an approved band before it runs. Under the ALIGNMENT DETERMINISM theorem the same defined inputs and rules give the same result, so a costly error can be traced to a rule, not a mood. That aids audit, and fewer wrong actions could mean fewer losses.
EARN: OFFER THE BAND, NOT THE RECORD
Dark Data Monetisation Without Exposure (DDME) lets a holder offer bands made inside its own sealed hardware vault, a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). The DELETE-BEFORE-SHARE axiom and DELETION-EGRESS ORDERING theorem put source destruction, within a declared scope, ahead of anything that travels outward.
SUPPLY: SIGNALS FOR MODEL BUILDERS
Band-Derived Training Signals (BDTS) pool bands from many holders, so AI builders could learn from permitted signals when public text runs short, with the source of each signal on record. More privacy means less detail, and that sets the price of trust. Buyers cannot see the record, so they need evidence.
PROVE: THE RECEIPT IS THE ASSET
Each step ends in a sealed receipt. The RECEIPT PRECONDITION axiom makes it a condition for the next step. For an insurer, auditor or regulator, that evidence trail could lower the effort, delay and cost of checking, because proof arrives with the decision.
WHY A BAND CAN BE PRICED
A band keeps its meaning because each measure is mapped through its own reference range. A buyer reads what it says without seeing the record, and asks three things: where it came from, what it says, who checked. Receipts could answer the first and third. Trust, not volume, sets the price.
ANY LINE ALONE
The NO MANDATORY DDME-TO-BDTS DEPENDENCY theorem keeps each money line independent. A holder can purge without selling; the Doctrine can guard AI actions without BBAT. Used together, savings fund trust, trust opens income, and receipts connect both. Neither needs the other, yet each could add value to the other.
MONEY SAVED IS MONEY EARNED
At planetary scale the base is vast. Data is counted in zettabytes and the power to keep it running in terawatt-hours, both still rising. Storage is only part of that load, but even a small saving on so large a base adds up.
TRAINING SPEND, VALUE ON DATA
AI builders now spend on chips, power and data centres at record scale, and that spend needs permitted, high-quality data. BDTS could supply signals, so each training dollar may add more value. Nobody can promise the size the market will pay.
THE PLANET'S SHARE
Money saved here can also save resources. Data not stored needs no power or cooling, and bands that travel instead of records mean less to copy and move. Such effects could lower energy use and emissions beyond one company's ledger, though size depends on adoption.
Illustrative workflow. Benefits are potential, not measured; value depends on validation, legal permission and market demand.
A BANK'S YEAR, ILLUSTRATED
A bank maps dormant logs into 0→1 bands. Records in the 0.00–0.20 band, with no legal hold, may be flagged for purging; doubtful cases go to a person. Records meeting a declared promote threshold, say 0.70, may yield a derived band. If a partner needs 0.60–0.80 and the band is 0.70–0.90, the 0.70–0.80 overlap could shape commercial terms, after privacy checks, source deletion and a sealed receipt.
WHO PAYS WHOM
Holders pay less to store and could earn from bands. AI builders pay for permitted signals instead of copied records. Insurers and regulators receive evidence they can inspect. Each payment follows a decision sealed in a receipt, so every party can see why money moved and under which rule.
PEOPLE STAY IN CHARGE
Under the HUMAN ESCALATION axiom, cases outside the declared domain go to a human; legal holds and low-confidence cases go to an authorised human reviewer before any money moves. In the Doctrine, what bands cannot settle goes to a human as well. AI sorts and measures; humans decide what numbers cannot.
WHAT AI SCIENTISTS NOW ASK
Scientists recently called for an international body to oversee cyber-capable AI, with timely incident reporting and shared containment standards. Such rules need evidence. Sealed receipts could supply an inspectable trail, and, under the RECEIPT PRIVACY axiom, the Cross-Agent Aggregation Detector (CAAD) reads them across agents without raw content. The inventions do not make rules; they could supply the evidence.
LEFT TO MARKETS
The filings create the option to monetise; they set no price and promise no income. Value would rest on what buyers can measure and law allows. Savings may come first, with income following as markets form. Each gain would need measuring, line by line, before anyone relies on it.
QUICK ANSWERS
Which line starts first?
Sorting. It needs no buyer.
Where does a receipt live?
With the holder, and it can be shared as proof; auditors see proof, not content.
Does size matter?
Triage is defined for archives of any size; other lines are optional.
Who sees the receipt?
Authorised reviewers, auditors and regulators; it holds no raw content.
CLOSING NOTE
Superintelligence will not run on promises; it will run on permitted data, and permission will need proof. Bands, receipts and quantum-resilient seals could turn silent archives into the ledger of the AGI era, with no record leaving home.
