The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Mode-I framework, with a stipulated completion period of two years. The scope includes the development of residential and non-residential facilities required for the establishment of the CISF battalion.

Order Book
Following the addition of the Rs. 198.31 crore CPWD contract, Highway Infrastructure's total order book stood at Rs. 1,776.19 crore as of October 31, 2026 .
A growing order book is an important indicator for infrastructure companies because it represents projects secured for execution over the coming periods. It provides visibility into the company's project pipeline, although the actual revenue contribution depends on execution schedules, project progress and contractual milestones.
For Highway Infrastructure, the latest order adds to its existing portfolio and strengthens its participation in larger civil construction assignments. The two-year execution timeline also provides a defined period over which the company will undertake the project.
What This Order Means for Highway Infrastructure?
The Rs. 198.31 crore contract represents a meaningful addition to Highway Infrastructure's project portfolio. Beyond the value of the order, the assignment provides an opportunity to strengthen its track record in executing large-scale government infrastructure projects.
The company's order book of Rs. 1,776.19 crore provides visibility into its secured project pipeline. However, investors should also monitor how efficiently the company executes these projects, meets contractual timelines and converts its order book into revenue and profitability.
The two-year execution period means that the contribution from this contract will depend on the pace of project implementation and the recognition of revenue over the execution period. Successful delivery could also strengthen the company's credentials when bidding for similar government infrastructure assignments.

The order also takes its total order book to Rs. 1,776.19 crore, strengthening the visibility of its secured project pipeline.
For investors, the key factors to watch will be project execution, the pace of order-book conversion into revenue, and the company's ability to maintain margins while undertaking larger assignments.
