Solana Could Surpass XRP in Market Cap by the End of 2027. Here's a Realistic Timeline for How It Happens.
In my view, Solana (CRYPTO: SOL) has a very realistic shot at surpassing XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) in market cap by or before the end of 2027. As of Oct. 26, Solana's market cap is $60.4 billion, and XRP's is at $82.5 billion, so to one-up its rival, Solana must gain about 36% while XRP stands still. The last time the two traded places was when XRP leapfrogged Solana on Dec. 1, 2024, so there's a precedent for Solana being worth more.
