Can anyone tell me if this is legit? I received a message from a phone number, and it says here:
"Good day, \[name redacted\]! This is \[name of PagIBIG employee\] from Pag IBIG Fund GMA Kamuning branch.
To facilitate the processing of virtual MP2 MATURITY application and validation of records, kindly provide:
1. Selfie holding loyalty card plus front facing
For compliance, you may send it through email gmakamuning(dot)ms2(at)pagibigfund(dot)gov(dot)ph. Indicate full name as subject. Thank you."
I just find it weird that they are using the (dot) format. Also, it was not required in Virtual PagIBIG to send a selfie holding the loyalty card plus, so I'm not sure why they are now requesting me to submit it.
The next message says my application will be disqualified if I don't submit it tomorrow noon.
Just want to make sure if I should provide the selfie, or just go to PagIBIG office next week and refile the application.
