I'm assuming it's equivalent to the Canadian CAGE etf, launched by their competitor avantis.
I'm not fully convinced of factor investing. For me to put all my eggs in any basket, I need to be fully convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Otherwise I might just sell low.
For index funds, that's easy. We have decades of data, all the academic literature in consensus, and real results that the market premium is the primary source of equity returns in diversified portfolios, and that alpha basically doesn't exist.
Factors aren't the same. We have lots of literature in support, but we also have literature against it (eg. Andrew Chen). Dimensional have managed to beat the market, but that may not last forever. If the factors aren't based off of risk and are just systemic mispricings, they'd go away as market efficiency goes up, which they may be doing right now even.
Again, not saying factors aren't true. But I'm not convinced **enough** to hold as I would a regular index fund.

I suppose you wanted to say CAGR, NOT CAGE, and yes it can can be both CAGR or just how much your portfolios is up, example 30% in 2 years, that makes cagr 15%
