I've been watching FSD YouTubers (Dirty Tesla, Chuck Cook, Black Tesla, etc.) for years.

The launch of Robotaxi service in Austin about 8 months ago and subsequent events tell me this:
FSD is an impressive demo. It also has real world value in terms of taking cognitive load off of a driver because FSD can make a lot of the small decisions that need to be made during driving. This reduces driver fatigue and improves quality of life.
However, FSD isn't good enough yet for a general Robotaxi service on the scale of Waymo. I still hear complaints IRL, and read complaints on communities like TMC and Reddit, that the software continues to make bad decisions at a high enough rate that most people would not trust it as a taxi replacement. This situation has continued to be mostly the same for the past several months.
Tesla has effectively set up a Potemkin Village of a Robotaxi service: something to mollify shareholders and keep hope alive that the company will suddenly push an update that will turn the Tesla vehicle fleet fully autonomous.
I've no idea when (or even if) Tesla can catch up to Waymo at this point. So far, it's looking like they've spent Billions on a Cybercab production line that might begin building cars in 5-6 weeks -- cars that the company possibly won't be able to use.
And even if Tesla does produce a workable Robotaxi, the economics of such a service are not clear to me either. Maintenance and cleaning are labor intensive tasks, and Tesla bot is not ready to do this.
I have sold a substantial % of my TSLA holdings in the past 2 months. TSLA continues to be my largest individual stockholding, but the risk/reward proposition has IMO become far worse in the past year. Despite having great technology, the company's executive leadership is dishonest, the board of directors incompetent, and the core business that funds the product roadmap is in steep decline.
IMO this stock is more and more of a gamble as time goes on.
