Canada is even odder sometimes.
The 1/4 oz gold is $10, the 1 oz silver is $5.
I've got an $8 1.5 oz silver.
... a $20 1/4 oz silver commemorative in a RCM mint case which is close to usable at that rate as circulating currency.

Two categories: items made to be collectable and items made that due to rarity or beauty were later determined to be collectable.
Sometimes there's overlap of course. Still there's so much out there that lots of box items are spot +10/20 or at spot for BU proofs.
Got a 7500 mintage RCM 2025 issue at a LCS and they had 3 of them in the display case. For sure was in that 1st category but looked cool.

The engelhard and RCM bars 🔥

I traded some yesterday for gold. They paid the exact same for all of my bars 100s 10s Engelhard JM generic it didn’t matter. So I kept all of the stuff like Engelhard JM RCM and let them have all bunch of no name whatever since it paid the same on the trade.

Thanks buddy. One of them should have been a 100 oz Brittania but SilverGoldBull said they ran out and asked if I was fine with another RCM and I said sure. Looking back I should have made them send me a Brittania once they had them in stock again, because omg what a glorious bar that would be in 100 oz form.

You just started and this is your stack already? Gosh, that's a beautiful stack you have. Loving the RCM products! I need to branch out from them, but I can't help it lol

I never considered EH to be premium.  They're old.  I would consider Geiger to be premium or to an extent- RCM in the 100oz range.

I haven’t seen RCM platinums maples since early 2025. Did you ask why? Is the mint not producing?
