I'm guessing you sold ETFs and not physical silver? My small SLV position is still up 130%, but I'm thinking of selling it too. Got some metals ETFs over the years to smooth volatility (lol), but aside from like 1% gold I don't really love it. I think it's likely you'll get your 75k entry.
Totally off topic, but also someone bought the car I had an appointment to test drive tomorrow. I don't have that Sienna money since we are in a bear market, but I'd love any suggestions for an affordable comfy sedan. I've been looking at the IS350, Genesis G70, CT4-V, and the Kia Stinger GT. Preferably a model with comma/openpilot support so I can fiddle with that. I actually love the Kia, but I'm finding they get bought up pretty quick on the used market.
Anyways, sorry for the off-topic discussion. I wish we had an off-topic thread that actually had engagement for stuff like this, or general macro finance. The non-whiners in here still offer better discourse than most other places online. Have a good weekend everyone

I actually got lucky and bought 25 put contracts on SLV yesterday..did 103% return. Sold too quickly today but oh well. Gonna buy some BTC now!!

Yeah, as long as Trump keeps ruining the USD, there will be interest in GLD and SLV.
However, we also should keep in mind that once he's out of office, they're probably going to decline for a decade like in previous gold/silver cycles.
