The new Virtual Bacon interview with TAO BIttensor founder has serious Martin Skirelli vibes. The guy reeks of "clueless fraudster bro". Constantly straining to reach for words and explanations. Obviously not in the trenches, not grinding. Appears completely out of touch, and much more likely to be found on a golf cart with a cooler of brews and fancy watch. If you don't see it, be careful it's blatent. Either that or he is super neurodivergent I suppose.
Compare him to someone like Jensen or any other legit
Some of the worst: Bacon, who is a complete scammer 90% of the time, is obviously reading off a provided script to promote TAO, there are several times when they are just looking at each other laughing about what a ridiculous charade/farce it is.
Toward the end, founder bro <grinning like a Cheshire cat>: I'm not shilling my bags, all you need to do is buy TAO.
It's already gone from $150 to near $375, almost a 3x pump in the midst of a bear market. Congrats if you caught that. I had a tiny position since a year ago and just sold. To expect it to continue to pump right now seems utterly insane. Just look at what Gold and Silver charts have done after crazy blow off tops. Down 35%/45%.
Do you really think JCal on "All In" podcast is just randomly spewing with the non-stop coordinated social media pump of TAO in the past weeks?
He's calling for $500B TAO on air. That's bigger than every international bank on the planet ($400B, other than JP Morgan at $788B). Are You F'n Kiddinggg Me? Based on what? What an utter shyster.
I'd love to be wrong. It would be great to have an easy AI crypto play. I think NEAR is a more serious contender, but I haven't researched either of them properly.
The last time I saw something like this was with OM/Mantra. when I watched interviews of him I was super underwhelmed. Same BS smoke show. However the claim was they were the tokenization play so I held. In December it was the only coin doing well, and that hadn't lost 30% like everything else and I thought better to sell it to rebalance for the losses on everything alts. Ten days later it lost 80% and I was so grateful I sold. That cemented my belief to trust my gut instinct on these founder interviews. Don't make the same mistake here.
Will I put it on the line and short it? I don't know enough about it, maybe I didn't understand it's potential. But so far I see nothing but red flags, and plenty of them.
What am I missing about TAO? If I am genuinely wrong I will repent.
