Does anyone know if the quoteklerk.com site is legit? I dont see anyone talking about it.
It froze my account after i received BTC from another user and it’s now asking for me to deposit $300 in BTC in another address i don’t own, saying if i do my account will be back, and i will be able to withdraw the money again.Support also said if i don’t do this within 6 hours,my account will be blocked,i don’t wanna lose access to my money though.
Is this a big scam or am i just paranoid? What do i do?

They have been saying this for years still BTC is still here. It’s best to buy early most especially now that it’s starting to gain relevance in Defi.

Yeah so I'm personally super into this - if you have a large position especially it's wise (especially considering the tiny spread that exchanges take) & considering that if you're a W2 (in the US) $3,000 can be deducted against income & the rest carries forward indefinitely (so a $30,000 loss can carry forward for a super long time). The key insight is you sell and immediately rebuy, so your BTC exposure never actually changes — you're just resetting your cost basis and capturing the loss on paper.

Considering the volatility of the asset, if you're dollar cost averaging, you're basically spinning off a few thousand per year in pure tax alpha.

😂 I asked this when I bought 10 at $1600 after spending 250 BTC for some weed and trashing a hard drive with 1000+ on it that still gives me anxiety to this day.
It’s always the right time but never feels like it.

Great callout by the OP. The real unlock is combining this knowledge with automation - most people who know TLH exists still do it manually, which means they either miss the dip window or don't bother at all. When you systematize it you're essentially running a tax optimization engine on autopilot. BTC's volatility stops being a source of stress and starts being a mechanism the community is actively weaponizing

(Redidt made me change the title of my previous post so here we are)
I think everyone can agree the biggest thing in the stock market—not only this year, but in the history of the market—will be the SpaceX IPO. As we get closer and closer to the IPO in June, the media coverage and retail frenzy will only get crazier and crazier
If we look at the past leading up to blockbuster IPOs, sympathy plays have gone absolutely crazy. $MARA and other BTC stocks went up over 1,000% in anticipation for the Coinbase IPO, $LCID and other EVs went up over 500% in anticipation for the Rivian IPO, etc. Sure, in the end they were all buy the rumor sell the news, but you play the RUN UP.
As we’re starting to see this week, Space stocks are beginning to move in the same way ahead of the SpaceX IPO in June. Some examples are $RKLB, $LUNR, UFO, etc. However, there’s one Space stock that is still down 99% and just announced THIS WEEK they are resuming operations, and that is (Virgin Galactic)
Virgin Galactic IPO'd at $200 in 2019 and quickly went to OVER $1,000 a share (reverse split adjusted). They’re a space company that is trying to make space travel possible for everyday people. They got hit with heavy delays in 2022 and the stock fell from over $1,000 to $2. Just this week they announced they were resuming operations. Ticket sales are BACK ON for $750,000 per seat, flight tests are starting this month, and they plan to fly people to space in Q4 OF THIS YEAR.
I want to make something clear: this is a TRADE (not a long-term investment) based on all the upcoming positive catalysts for the company and the SpaceX IPO. As crazy as going from $2 to $200 sounds, we’ve already seen a shit company like Carvana go from $3 to almost $500. And remember Virgin Galactic IPO’d at $200 a share, meaning big money who bought it paid $200 on IPO day (and the all time high is over $1,000). Since the stock has fallen so much, it has also become heavily shorted.

Positions - Lots of shares, July $7 Calls, Jan 2027 Calls
If you’re asking about the math for the 400 bagger, if the share price hits $200+ those 200 calls are now worth $4 million+. In my 10 years of trading, I have never seen a risk/reward with so many positive catalysts coming up better than this. If you think anything I said is factually wrong or have a different opinion, I’d be happy to discuss it here.

Depends what you care about most tbh. Speed? Privacy? Low fees? They all trade off against each other.
I used changenow a few times and it was fine until it wasn't... one swap just got stuck and they wanted me to verify. Which like, defeats the whole purpose imo. Never had that issue with godex but the rates were kinda meh on smaller pairs.
Lately i've been using GhostSwap for most of my swaps. No account, no KYC, just pick your pair and send. Worked fine for moving BTC to XMR and some ETH to AVAX stuff. Not the absolute cheapest rates every single time but I stopped worrying about random verification holds which was the main thing bugging me.
If you're doing bigger amounts or exotic pairs just check the rate before you commit, some of these services have wider spreads on low liquidity coins. And always do a small test tx first regardless of which one you pick.

So your Go account is a Roth IRA as well? Then yes, you can move the M1 investments into it.
I've already stated my feeling that young investors in their 20s should be relatively aggressive in their choices, especially if they are somewhat knowledgeable about investing. You have a tremendously long investment timeframe, you hopefully have disposable income and are less burdened by family demands, kids, house payments, etc. My kids have been in FSELX for the last few years for example.
IPOs only create transient wealth for those who get an allocation. Real wealth is made over time by growth thru earnings. That is the downside of your focus on whole market everything ETFs. You are choosing to take both the good and the bad and accepting the average. You can do better, but it takes more work.
Getting comfortable with risk takes time, you may get there or not. Since you have a bit of BTC/ETH maybe you are closer than you think.

Yes, so start promoting p2p cash. If anything this should motivate more. More people need to speak out and teach people p2p cash instead of how to make more fiat with BTC gambling.

Exactly, why I said it's nuanced because saying mining is unprofitable is generally true but at the same time a false statement because it depends on a variety of factors, if your solo mining and hitting block after block, statistically improbable, but not impossible, or if you have dirt cheap electricity, or if the price of BTC goes up or the price or electricity goes down. If the amount of people in your mining pool decreases you'll get a larger percentage of rewards on mined blocks, and sure there's some other subtle that could affect profitability but saying it's not profitable is just dumb even if most miners are currently operating unprofitably.
It's like saying football (soccer) players don't make money, sure a lot of people who play football don't make money, but the ones that do make a boatload and it would be silly to say that as a statement without highlighting the specifics

Just to clarify, when you use Bitcoin to pay for something, the IRS treats that as a taxable disposal, same as selling it. Since BTC dropped between when you bought and when you spent it, you actually have a small capital loss you can claim.

As for the 1099-DA, Cash App may not have issued one for multiple reasons (one would be reporting thresholds potentially), but you're still required to report it. I would recommend looking at options to automate this tracking process.

BTC is the smallest issue when encryption is cracked by QC. Banking, infrastructure and military would be the first targets. Also quantum proofing the protocol would be a non issue if it would be on the horizon. There would need to be a cut off and fork for old wallets not being updated, but this would be a small price to pay.
Also, quantum computing is the new nuclear fission. It’ll be ready to use soon ™️

Personally I have a CPA that is specialized in crypto (this is my second year using him and he's been solid) & have an app that automates my DCAing + importantly does tax loss harvesting for me automatically

Since there's no wash sale rule currently - the community can weaponize BTC's volatility on the way down during dips.

i’m not sure i agree it’s the worst possible thing they could do. if you don’t want to buy ETH, don’t.
i think at the very least, they should offer stablecoins. i don’t think schwab would ever offer any random low quality meme coins but definitely more than just BTC and ETH
