I think the secret to both crypto and stocks is to just buy regularly and not try to time the market. I put a bunch of money away for my kids college, just a few hundred a month into msft for 15 yrs. And it's like crazy high now. But almost any main Nasdaq stock would have been just as successful.
Same with BTC and ETH. I bought like $200/month for 10yrs and bought a 4 Plex with it this year. (Now I'm practically starting over!)

Many altcoins are making real progress with strong partnerships, real-world use, and revenue generation. Long-term, the potential looks strong across the board, not just for BTC.

I bought (3) BTC a number of years ago when it was around $7k. When it went up to $11k, I sold thinking I was a financial genius with my $12k profit.

Weird. Some of the alt coins are pumping! I fully expected to see BTC up with action like that, but no, it's down. So why are likely shit coins going up. Usually BTC drags down everyone!?

So this might trigger a need for the Japanese to pull their funds back home and trigger a global liquidity issue for global markets.
This can also raise U.S. Treasuries and have a negative effect on risk assets like BTC.
In other words, expect crypto price swings as investors tighten liquidity.

Yup my problem with BTC is that it creates nothing in the world, for example, if I buy a google share , google creates something and I can gain from my investment but BTC is pure speculation that it will fix monetary system , that’s it’s so volatile

This assumes the price of BTC stays the same between when people initially bought and when Bitfinex returned stolen funds. The price of BTC did not stay the same at all so they would only be able to repurchase a small fraction of what they originally owned in their exchange accounts.
