No one ever said BTC was a payment system. It's an asset and a store of value. You can use it to make payment the same way you can pay with a block of gold. Possible, just not the most efficient way.
If you wanna make payments use USDT or some other dollar linked alt.

But if spot ETF’s keep buying even when exchange balances are at zero, price heads to infinity until a seller emerges who is willing to sell to them.
I agree BTC held by treasury companies is stickier but that doesn’t take away from the fact that spot ETF’s are averaging $134.9 million in buying pressure per trading day so the overwhelming trend is net inflows, not net outflows. And buying pressure from spot ETF’s is nothing to scoff at considering on average they’re buying at an even faster rate than MSTR despite MSTR beginning their BTC buying back in 2021 whereas spot ETF’s barely launched in 2024.

Here's something that I posted to another thread:
And before anybody shouts lies or accuses me of cherry-picking specific dates, let's just take a look at only the 2024 year, i.e. exactly 1-Jan-2024 to 31-Dec-2024:
1-Jan-2024: $BTC $43,835, MSTR $68.52
31-Dec-2024: $BTC $93,429, MSTR $289.62
Gain: $BTC +113%, MSTR +323%
As always, though, past performance does not guarantee future gains. Place your bets wisely.

BTC held on exchanges could double next year. Or next month. Or next week. Or next block.

Supply and demand. Also notice whenever FED (central bank of USA) announced rate cut or rate increase, it also affects price of Bitcoin. May weigh din whenever US announces new laws/bills regarding Bitcoin or crypto. Read books about Bitcoin's history ("Bitcoin standard", fiat standard", "hijacking Bitcoin"). Also current narrative for Bitcoin (BTC) is store of value. Only works if you will leave Bitcoin (BTC) in a centralized exchange or custodial wallet (very contrary to 'not your keys not your coins' mantra). If you want to self custody your crypto coins, better to look at other cryptocurrencies besides BTC. Again do your own diligence/research and decide for yourself. Like gold, BTC will increase in value coz that's the playbook of nations and billionaires. Common people may enjoy BTC for limited time.

Well this isn't help, but relief to know others have a similiar problem. Ya its comforting having funds/assets aside from regular income/banks. I first got into it around 2015 and around 2019-20' started really rolling with btc and a few others and over the years found myself downloading this wallet for this/that used it for purchases, sending payments to friends and had deposits from several different accounts to my crypto assets and not thinking (in the beginning) that these are real assets/funds; it doesnt seem real until I cash out (IMO) just want strong numbers, dont really ever think of what I can buy/do just reassurance having it as a long term investment. But now trying to organize or at least simplify all my wallets. Just feel like I was a little wreckless in the beginning, I just found $480~BTC that I sent in the beginning of the year which was around $320(ish) when I sent it to a Web3 wallet, now I set aside time to browse through my transaction history on Blockchain, Etherscan and now im worried about my tax liability when I do cash out. Plus when I got paid in cash there have been several times over the years ill have someone pay me in btc. Now all that cash will be taxed (which is knew and is fine) but worried I might owe more then I think. So far allocated many of my crypto aessets to 3 main accounts with the exception of staked ETH! But with a few hundred here or there scattered around. Nothing on the scale of yours (killer job btw) but this is the part that is always in the back of my mind, first always worried id send funds to wrong address but nope its also the reality that the Piper will come calling, and the worry how far behind am I? Guess we will see.

LTC is as relevant as BTC. It was launched with the same fair platform. As far as important cryptos LTC and BTC are widely used. I agree not a 4 to 1 ration in correlation to how many they are capped at but I do believe 100 to 1 is reasonable but the fair market determines where it is. I do believe BTC hits a million by 2030-2032 and LTC WILL be about 500 to one or 5000 that time

people say they want to know, but they don't really want to know. It's dangerous to the BTC narrative to know that its all a govt project. If you dig around you will find that the CIA interviewed the 4 satoshi's, they know. Read the Economist Jan 1988 article "rise of the phoenix". It details how a crypto will become the world SDR (special drawing rights). This stuff has been planned for the last 30 years.
