> Don’t include any key information in your will.
Your seed would not be in your will but in the same sealed envelope that includes your will you share after your will is already prepared
A dishonest family member opening up the envelope early doesn't allow them to steal your BTC , just your decoy balance which alerts you that they can't be trusted.
>Get a bank safe deposit box.
The problem with this is internal or external bank thieves can get your money and you can lose it with civil or asset forfeiture .

That is very smart thinking, having the executor sell the BTC. Although I would guess that would depend on whether conversations with the heirs have been had or not.

That was its original intent, for sure. I personally still support and buy BTC for that reason.
But when OP posts a question like this, it's because they're still chasing the dollars.

If that were true, Doge would not still be a top ten coin. And yet it is.
If that were true, my own holdings, where Doge and BTC have been roughly equal values, would have Doge at a 10th of the value of my BTC. And yet, Doge is currently ahead by about 6%, and BTC has only been slightly ahead four times recently.
If that were true, 1 BTC, which back in the day would have bought a million Doge, would not be worth 571,000 Doge. Although admittedly Doge was worth three times as much at the peak.
So I call bullshit on your assertions.
And as for ‘meme coin’, there was no such thing when Doge was created. It was not created as a meme, but as a commentary on the state of crypto, where scamcoins were being used to make devs rich by pulling the rug out from under people silly enough to to buy their crap. Doge was intended to self destruct in a year, when it reached the end of its mining schedule. It was not meant to survive and become what it is today, a currency which is actually what Bitcoin should have been, and would have been if Satoshi had had the vision.
Memecoins didn’t come about until about five years ago, when people started creating shitcoins to try and ‘kill’ Doge.

Khabib legit promoted some scam token called ice open network. I watched a video of khabib saying he loves BTC and stuff. The guy was kind asking technical question. But the reporter didn't know shit about BTC either.

The point of infrastructure is to work. If this „solves“ the issues of LN not working, and LN is supposed to solve the issues of BTC not working, and then it gets attacked and nothing is working, that attack has succeeded, even if every user got out ok, they still can‘t do jack squat. Decentralization matters.

You're thinking about this all wrong. You have to consistently buy into BTC and be patient. The price of BTC will have a ton of ups and downs. That's normal. Just focus on accumulating as much BTC as you can. In the next bull market, you should see a very nice profit. But in order for that to happen, you have to keep stacking. Do not sell when things are down. That's a horrible move. At least wait until you're in profit to sell.

For everyone wondering whether BTC is still in a bull market, this is a very recent and excellent video I highly recommend - really high quality: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1nMSMVoIxA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1nMSMVoIxA)

if you have 10-12 BTC on a wallet with a 12-words seed phrase, memorizing those 12 words will allow you to take your wealth with you, anywhere, just keeping the seed phrase in your head. No airport security x-ray will find it. Contrary to a pocket of gold coins, those would show on the x-ray.

>it was known that the cost basis was around $106k.
Nobody's ever shown evidence of this. The date range they provided showed BTC significantly below $106k for nearly the entire period in which they had to make the purchase. They could have bought at $98k for all we know.

I didn't lose any money not gambling on BTC. It's like saying you lost money not putting it all on NVIDIA, or on red at the roulette wheel.
The risk of crypto speculation, yes even BTC, is extremely high, and not in a good way. There are many systemic risks and counterparty risks, up to and including not being able to take your money out of the system (go look at Coinbase customer service posts).
