You’re trying to argue that BTC isn’t a gamble while describing a scenario that relies entirely on a specific, unproven future outcome. That is the very definition of a bet.

While I get the sentiment let’s not be naive and assume BTC isn’t without it risks.

In terms of hackability… AI makes phishing and social engineering easier. Since crypto relies entirely on the human not making an error, AI might actually make holding crypto riskier for the average person, not less. It’s as easy as losing a password, opening a phishing link, sending btc to the wrong account.. all that leads to 0BTC in your account. If your bank account gets hacked you’re usually insured.

I hope it's "/s"
You do realize that all this "profit" is just new accounting tricks/unrealized gains from BTC, right? And that this asset is a highly volatile version of monopoly money which they can never sell, otherwise it would all become worthless in an instant?

ASST is hugely undervalued at these prices. Currently trading at \~$1.10, this can bring big returns if BTC keeps running again (just like it always ends up doing).

They are the first public traded asset management BTC treasury company, and they are aiming to build significant BTC holdings and compound shareholder's value through their strategy.
Given that BTC accumulation and being a pennystock, if BTC keeps rallying the upside is going to be huge, outperforming the own BTC itself.

Recent capital raises and preferred stock issuance gives it fuel to expand BTC holdings without diluting. On Nov 10, they closed an upsized offering of its variable rate preferred shares ($SATA), raising roughly $160 M, specifically to fund further BTC purchases.
This means that common shareholders get leverage to growth in BTC reserves without dilution.

In my opinion, the downside seems limited and the upside is just too big. At this price ($1.10), the price already discounts uncertainty (poor earnings, high volatilty and all that BTC fear).
Now it's the perfect timing gived the market conditions. We can see this again at $2-3 as soon as BTC suprasses 100k

That belief is not "common.'
In a decade, only the WILDEST guesses have BTC at 10mil. So .01 would be what, 100k? IDK about you, but even 10x that, while it would be nice, would not be (nearly) enough to retire on, for me.

Mine account was closed as well. All I did was buy and sell some BTC. Now they tell me I can't get my money out till Jan 3, 2026. This is ridiculous. I have requested an immediate account closure and a refund of my funds. I will never use River again.  Please process the return as you do not have the right to retain my funds and require an immediate refund

I have been invested in QTUM since 2019 and it is by far my greatest investment besides my early crypto bags (BNB @ .10 cents and BTC @ $300). I still DCA into QTUM and don't plan to stop for the next decade.

Four year cycles of you look at halvings it's a really complicated nerdy thing but it's really debatable if we are going to be seeing the same cycles now that we have ETFs and big money in the picture but you can always depend on the other four years cycle in the market I think BTC will be more in line with the NASDAQ than the halvings from now on

Hey, have you guys considered the OP might be a young kid or even someone who lives paycheck to paycheck like many people do today? Maybe it's a big deal for him to invest anything at all, especially in a very high risk and volatile instrument like BTC. Before you judge someone, you should know where they're coming from.

Gme 's BTC holdings is less than 5% of their current market cap. Significantly less when you consider how fake the price is. Bitcoin can have some wild swings but no way the market crashes and institutions also let it crash as hard, they need it for collateral requirements.
If market crashes and BTC follows, we will have no worries as cascading margin calls will certainly kick off.

ROFL!
ZEC shillers were all over the place about how ETH and BTC were corrupted because they have an ETF and got "took" over by the "institutions", and lost their "cypherpunk ways".
I called out their BS and said Grayscale would 100% convert their ZEC trust into an ETF when momentum starts to fade, and they need to keep the hype going. They just downvoted me and ignored what I said. LOL!

Yea we don't care if 1BTC is 1BTC. We aren't buying Bitcoin because we actually believe Btc will replace Fiat. We are just buying Bitcoin to increase our wealth in short time. Whoever that says read white paper or the books from blah blah, they will never get to whatever they dream of. States are buying BTC , institutes are buying BTC. Financial freedom my a$$
