Priced in BTC, ETH hit an ATH of 0.1471 BTC in 2017. ETH’s peak in 2021 was 0.08407 BTC, 42.8% lower than 2017’s peak. If 2025’s peak is once again 42.8% lower than 2021’s peak, that would suggest ETH peaks at ~0.048 BTC this time around.
But because a bunch of people are growing more cognizant of the fact that ETH is trending towards zero when priced in BTC, it wouldn’t be unusual to see a bunch of frontrunning well before 0.048 BTC is reached. And a huge chunk of those people selling their ETH bags are also planning on moving into BTC, impacting the ratio further than just selling ETH alone.
So far ETH has reached at high as 0.414 BTC this year. Still possibly a little more room to run on the ratio but yeah it’s getting pretty close to running up against that downwards trendline where it’s likely to start heading down again.

*Eye roll* Here we go again…
Look dude. We get it. Blackrock customers. Pat yourself on the back.
Here’s the thing: the laws of supply and demand don’t change regardless who buys BTC. Whether it’s Blackrock or Blackrock customers. The technicality doesn’t change that this is great.

Mike made a mistake. He believed that you can argue with maxis using reason, logic and common sense. This in fact not true, because BSCorons where paid not to understand what Mike said. The idea was all along to cripple BTC and make it as unusable as possible while avoiding to look like a socketpuppet for the elites. That mission was successfully accomplished for BTC. It‘s now a dead cripplecoin.

Just been buying BTC/ETH/SOL/XRP when every they dip a decent amount and not selling at all and I’m up for now. It’s a long term thing. Give it months to years. It will drop and climb just don’t sell or panic

What's the aversion to cashing out? Spending your BTC is a disposal the same as selling it.

Well, BTC long term... ETH idk about that long term... I guess it depends on what you mean by long term. Literally every coin in his portfolio outmatches ETH, with HBAR being the best technologically of all of them.

Many modern Bitcoin wallets (especially HD wallets like Electrum, BlueWallet, Ledger, etc.) automatically generate a new receiving address each time you receive a payment. This is done for privacy reasons, not because the old addresses become invalid
All previously generated addresses still belong to your wallet and are fully functional. You can receive Bitcoin to any of them old or new as long as you haven't lost access to the wallet (e.g., seed phrase or private keys).
Your BTC will safely arrive in your wallet.

In 2010, 10,000 BTC bought 2 pizzas. Today 10,000 BTC buys an entire city block.

Even if it's legit, who in their wildest dreams would waste an asset that constantly goes up in value over time on random consumer stuff? BTC is not ready to be a currency, not for a LONG time. Store of value though, absolutely.

I actualy thought that was Blackstone, just BlackRock is more known because of the entry into the crypto space.
I was trying to think of a scenario where BlackRock is like, welp, we sold all our crypto, and even though it's only 4%, I wonder if that could cause BTC to sharply crash momentarily.
Just a large institute exit and how that affects things.
Or in the case of a hack is it possible to have mt.gox 2.0

What are the reasons OGs are leaving?
Retirement?
Alts?
Or do they think BTC has peaked based on diminishing return theories?

Smelled something in the air and pivoted my little BTC buy at 112k into ETHU before close yesterday. Fun ride today, trailing stops in place, will assess the next move when they hit (or possibly just exit soon anyway).

This. The only brokerage that facilitates its ETF’s BTC holdings is Fidelity.
