If Bitcoin's market cap were $37 T, the price per Bitcoin would be approximately $1.8 M.
Surely it would have to be even higher than that to pump their bags alone to $37 T which doesn't sound possible. They could give it a go, but in trying I think they would show they still don't fully understand BTC. It would benefit them more, to move everything into BTC before everyone else, and then use that to move to a BTC standard.

I’m calling bollox to this. Before I read up to the $50,000 invested 12 years ago I believed the person. Unless you are a serial numpty, you do not just put $50k into something that new especially with all the talk back then. Even if $100 a pop that’s still 500 Bitcoin at what now priced at $115,000 is $57.5 Million, minus 50% tax. There’s no way you a) still not touch it and b) Come on a social media platform and share that information, so for me it’s bollox.
Even if you lived on Mount Everest, there is no way you do not find out BTC hit $10k & then $100k and STILL do nothing.

Could this be the end game and what would happen to Bitcoin? Not very knowledgeable in the space but very curious as to what you maxis think? What price would BTC even have to reach for this outcome to happen?

I have a number that I want to get to before retirement and that number is in amount of BTC. I have IBIT in a 401k also and I consider that part of my stack and I convert it into BTC (even though it’s shares)

SPX is nothing like BTC. BTC is a fixed supply SoV asset at 21M coins
Pretty sure there can be, what, 1 billion SPX coins?

So im starting out with 1000 dollars and I am still in school so I can trade from 5-7:30am and 7-8:30pm. I started with wanting to trade crypto, ETH, BTC, and SOL only but I've seen people say that crypto is not a predictable market and it just moves cause it feels like it and it can. So im thinking more along the lines of forex and futtures becasue they are 24/5 and 24/6 so I thought i would ask here.

i do know information you don't. I've seen these cult coins grow over the past 2 years, developing deep lore and passionate holders. you would know if you used twitter where the real action is happening.
we're trying to help you not be sidelined SPX. it's the next BTC, all the signs are there

Humbles the permabulls? lol permabulls are always right on a long enough timescale buddy. Just because you dont understand BTC and its long term implications doesn’t make permabulls wrong. If you need to sell sats to afford rent or for down payment then you were overexposed to begin with.

As a community, between the tech and number go up, we could do so much better by having solidarity on crypto.
For example, and I'm not suggesting this is what we should do, but if everyone only bought Bitcoin and believed only in Bitcoin. Then Bitcoin would skyrocket and everyone wins.
However, that means the early Bitcoiners win disproportionately, and for some reason people hate that idea out of jealousy or envy. So what do they do? They buy the newer coin/chain to be an early adopter rather than enriching early BTC adopters. But if you play this out, it doesn't work because the ones who bought ETH for this purpose are now seeing that new participants don't want them to be rich. So the new ones all jump on Solana. Then the new entrants don't want Solana adopters to win rather than themselves, so they jump on Fartcoin, then SPX69000.
The point is, it's a never ending cycle as the limit to new projects is infinite. Then all of these projects perform poorly and the non-crypto crowd says "I told you it was a scam". And they were right.
So game theory dictates that to be successful in the long term, our best logical course of action is to all become BTC maxis. Which will never happen but that's my observation and conclusion.
Happy hunting!

I just wish people wouldn't immediately try to refute me and instead look into things that their bias leads them to disagree with. I'm not stupid, I know that over the past 10 years BTC has beaten gold by a huge margin. However, not everyone who invests in BTC has had the privilege of holding for that long. Especially younger people. BTC's diminishing returns have been real this cycle if youre already up 1000% it doesnt feel like that but if you got in at 50,60,70,80k then yea this cycle feels pretty terrible up until this point.

With all that being said I am hopeful for a big blow off top in Q4. I just dont feel like its in the cards.

If you just look at [this](https://bitcoincounterflow.com/charts/after-halving-comparison/) chart its painfully obvious how bad bitcoin performance has been this year.

At least it has a PE. Neither gold or BTC have any earnings at all. Does that mean they can't go up?!

Expect more fuckery. BTC will revisit \~$105K one more time, as the rate-cut rally will falter, but institutions will prop up the majors. After that: game on. OG whales have already started selling BTC and will rotate soon enough.
That said, don't expect a 2021-level of returns.
Just my opinion.

All great replies, appreciate the details. I definitely need to do some more reading about these transactions (Utxo). I do not intend on purchasing anything with BTC. Plan is to continue with DCA’s on Strike for the next 5 years or so build some wealth and assess again at that time. Will look into making less transactions off Strike to my Trezor throughout the year. Right now moving once a month

Most realistic timelines are 2030–2040s.
Bull case (fast track, 2030): Institutions pile in, regulation turns friendly, global instability pushes BTC as digital gold.
Base case (2030–2035): Adoption keeps growing but slower, steady halvings, gradual shift into mainstream finance.
Bear case (late 2030s+): Regulation slows it down, demand grows unevenly, or other assets steal the spotlight.
It’s less about “if” and more about “how fast the world needs an alternative store of value.”

You need debt traded into assets to get rich.
Consolidate into 100% BTC, then pull a collateralized loan of 80%.
Move that to another account. If you get liquidated, so what, you took 80% of the value out.
Buy another asset like JLP. Pull 75% loan, so what if it gets liquidated. You took 75% out.
Now move that out of crypto into stock. Like buy 5 picks that are risk but nice profit by the company. Something for the future: self driving cars, data centers, AI, AI chip building.
Tesla, Google, Amazon - all have self driving cars, AI, data centers
Take margin of 1% per week and keep buying shares of companies that you like. Those that are profitable and have future potential as AI and robotics make the business more efficient.
You’re trading debt for assets. Inflation is guaranteed. Just keep buying and hope you didn’t start at the wrong time. If you get liquidated, re-establish the position.
