Market cap is only useful for comparing currencies. It introduces no upper limit. It doesn't mean a future price will not be reached. It only introduces relative depth requirement. It will be more difficult, absolutely. But to say it's impossible is like saying BTC will never hit $1 million when we all know it will.

It is kind of bizarre how there is just absolutely no interest in BTC. Eventually the stock market is going to have a correction, then what will happen to BTC?

LOL everyone mentioning bear market in this sub while BTC and ETH are very close to ATH. A few red days is not a bear market. Stay away from charts and come back in December, you'll thank me.

I think once they have 1 million bitcoin by any means necessary, they will possibly make the dollar backed by a bitcoin standard. This happen when they could revalue the dollar to Bitcoin once it is large enough asset class and less volatile. Or issue Bitcoin backed stable coin more liquid than Bitcoin. This way Bitcoin as store of value can make fiat money more deflationary. The issue with this is that if they needed more money, they need to acquire more BTC. Which makes me wonder if at times of war confiscate it.
Or they can issue bitcoin backed debt, that they can use to convert fiat into bitcoin just like Strategy playbook. The interest is unlikely to have a Bitcoin cagr less than 10 in the next 10-20 years.
Just some ideas. I don’t think they will sell it to pay off debt. The wealthy do not sell off assets.

>Its still outperforming everything to this day.
I just said that.
>It didnt gain all of its growth at the beginning.
Factually it has. The beginning is being defined as any time prior to the full adoption of the currency. We aren't even at 10% adoption. This is the beginning.
>Even this year, its outperforming almost everything.
Again, like I said, it will likely continue to outperform until full adoption. My point is that you cannot indefinitely hold currency as if it were an asset and expect infinite growth. Once it reaches full adoption, it becomes a medium of exchange.
>Stop listening to your boomer financial advisor and go take a look at a chart yourself.
The chart has nothing to do with what we are talking about. The chart is irrelevant to what BTC actually is.
>If AI is doing all of the work in the world and they only demand payment in btc, that is called demand.
That's not how it works. The Bitcoin, is the medium of exchange. The demand, is the thing you are buying. The Bitcoin does not have demand anymore, because it is a currency. You don't want to hold bitcoin to store it in a wallet and have it do nothing. You want to use it to buy things to perform service to you and your future.
>Demand+scarcity= number go up.
Correct. Once Bitcoin reaches full adoption, it will simply become a currency. Currency's don't have [demand.You](http://demand.You) use them as a medium of exchange, to get things you want. So once BTC becomes the medium of exchange, it's demand will be equalized. People don't really "want" bitcoin just to look at it. They want it because they want to buy some good or service in the future with it.
I don't think you understand even how currency works.

Impossible to retire in a developed country on .1 BTC. Even if it was worth 10mil in 20 years, that’s 1mil. Thats not even enough to retire now. Forget about after 20 years of inflation.

This post will age like milk. We definitely are early and retiring on 0.1 BTC may be entirely within the realm of possibility in >20 years. Also, 150k this cycle is bearish, but I will agree no one knows for sure.
My opinion.... Bitcoin is going to not the moon, but rather the stars, as soon as governments start piling in. It will only take one major country with a population over 300 million to start getting the FOMO going for all of them.

Remember this: The internet was created in the 1960s by DARPA (back then, just ARPA), and the internet took until the mid 1990s to really gain traction and become ubiquitous. Bitcoin is about half that age... yeah man, we are definitely early. Especially if it's true that less than 2% of the entire planet owns any Bitcoin at all (that is an assertion for which I have no evidence and I will gladly accept a rejection of that idea, but that's my opinion). When Bitcoin is as old as the internet is now... yeah...21 million bitcoins is not enough to go around, let's just say that!

Institutional money is growing faster than retail in BTC ETFs. Quit being an ass. It’s not necessary.

Into Bitcoin, or into 1 Bitcoin? BTC is around $115k USD at the moment ... are you asking if people who have more than $115k in life savings would give up the difference (rather than get the $ equivalent in BTC)?

I would say don't, all crypto is peaking at the moment and FOMO is probs kickin in for you.
There most likely will be a correction in the next month.
Instead start slow, buy 20-50 a week, less when it's at a high, more through the dips and build up towards your 1K input.
Also spread the love, BTC, ETH, LTC are your mains, couple ALTs like DOGE on the side and a memecoin or two as a lottery ticket (best only to be a tiny % of your investment)

Appealing to authority or credentialism doesn’t work on me buddy. I couldn’t care less you have a “postgrad qualifications” in “finance” lol If you believe selling all your BTC for a down payment on a liability then you need to get your money back from your university as they scammed you buddy.

If I went into a bank tomorrow for a loan they wouldn’t give a damn about how much BTC I had and it wouldn’t effect the interest rate at all. What are you smoking?

The reason why Bitcoin has outperformed everything since it's inception, is because it started from nothing. Rapid growth was based on it's adoption as a currency. As it reaches full adoption, the speculation based growth, will no longer be a factor. At full adoption, it will simply be a medium of exchange, like all currency. Since BTC does not innovate, it is simply the medium of exchange, it will not grow as quickly as assets that innovate or are productive. Scarcity alone does not produce an increase in value.
Whether AI asks for payments in sats or cash is not relevant. This is already assuming cash is irrelevant at this point. Once cash is no longer used as the medium of exchange, BTC is. People will use BTC to buy assets or consume things. It will be the currency.

Well, you might have cool returns witht hat portfolio. But you are maybe spreading yourself thin. Consider at least one of them BTC, ETH and SOL are the hot thing right now. Consider SUI as well. XRP has a great cult aiming for $1000 per coin. Cardano also has a great cult.
If you are looking for short term, high risk-high reward. Consider SPX6900, $MOG, FARTCOIN, $LOFI. This are community backed memecoins acting as leveraged beta coins of their respective ecosystems. Never hurts. You havw to think. Will you play it safe or take a risk?

They currently have about $19.44/share in Cash & Short-Term Securities (BTC etc.) I think that once they put all that rocket fuel into a viable business direction we’ll see a magnifying effect, until then you’re not wrong — they’re pretty close to trading near that 1:1 ratio.
My point to OP was that he failed to account for the +cash to the B/S x leverage.

Too much diversification, stick with just the big caps like BTC and ETC

Anyways, when people tell you to diversify they're telling you to put your money into different asset classes, not into different loads of shitcoins

If you think you need $10M in BTC in the future, I’d put at least $15M - $25M in now to make sure you have $10M in the future.

We will soar soon! She is fighting. Kris and CDC bullposting means something. Have faith. And RIP Charlie Kirk. He was such a loving man and helped us get Trump in who ultimately him, and the US government, have helped BTC and CRO so much. I hate making shit political, but I'm tired of every leftist commenting disgusting and false accusations like "pedophile" "rapist" etc. all over our CRO threads. Just letting you all know, you have inspired me to become a better man.
Go $CRO, America, and all of us. Wish us all love and success.
