MellowAds now accepts BitcoinCash BCH!

People/BTCers like to pull that chart up all the time. But it doesn’t change the fact in the last year or so it has moved from #30 to #10, above ADA. Is up 70% over 1Y while BTC is down -28% . No other of the (dozens?) BTC forks can be found in the top 100 but yet BCH is #10.
BCH has a dynamic block size algorithm, smart contract capabilities and on-chain tokens while still having the same core functionality as BTC.
In May this year there will be another VM upgrade.
So yeah very likely and not just because of hopium but quality upgrades and independently funded development. By comparison BTC’s future is bleak, Lightning failed all it did was promote custodial wallets, TapRoot didn’t solve anything. There’s an ETF and Saylor keeps buying, yet it keeps going down? Digital gold narrative also failed, down 50% in ~6 months doesn’t inspire confidence.

When BCH first forked off from Bitcoin, the total value of pre-fork Bitcoin split into the 2 chains (btc and BCH). BCH supporters were expecting to overtake Bitcoin's value and become the main chain. "tHe ReAl biTcOiN".
That first year BCH had an epic rise and reached about half BTC value's.
This wiggly disappeared, and the chains eventually settled at a valuation of >99% to BTC and <1% BCH.
At that point, it's obviously over. It's a dead coin with no real value, no real use case, besides an emotional cult following.
Every single person who bet their wealth on the BCH chain lost everything.
Wild that there are still supporters out there. Truly mind boggling.

Personally I have no use for BTC but BCH fit my vision of it. For you? I dont know, if you goal in crypto is to get more FIAT money I cannot help you much.

I love BCH, and I love privacy. BCH has Cash Fusion for privacy, but Cash Tokens have no privacy solution. I think Zano and confidential layer can be a fantastic privacy solution for cash tokens, and just about every other chain too, so now I love Zano as well.

You can literally just use BCH as currency. Doesn't matter how much the govt holds. You would need to shut off the internet in order to stop crypto**CURRENCY**

So what does this mean, it automatically changes your BCH to XMR? Canadian exchanges no longer support monero. Isn't LTC to XMR also the more popular one?

I have used Wealthsimple to buy BCH, send to RockWallet, then swap for BSV.

Who gives a shit. If he funded, it was before the BCH split, idiot. So BCH benefitted just as much.

If block rewards went away right now transactions would have to cost between $45-$100 in fees to provide a similar payout for miners. 
Layer 2 solutions are necessary for BTC to continue providing small transactions at a reasonable rate either way, which isn't perfect, but I believe this to be a better solution in order to maintain the integrity of BTCs Layer 1, which is far less centralized than base level BCH would have to be if it was widely adopted, as it would quickly become impossible for small miners to contribute. Layer 2s incentivize cooperation through game theory AND have failsafes that allow you to pull out of secondary payment channels if anything does go wrong.
There's no reason to say $1000+ fees would every be required, so this comes across as FUD.
Even just some BTC miners can switch to BCH and 51% attack it at any moment.
Just some things to think about. 

If we want decentralized p2p digital cash it only makes sense to keep all funds off exchanges as much as possible and to support more than one chain. This is what the FUDsters don't want people to consider.
Monero has great privacy but it's slow and expensive compared to BCH. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

I remember well the moment when Bitcoin Cash was created via a controversial fork from BTC. I didn't have a good feeling about the instigators (and their motivations and methods) then, and I certainly don't trust the instigators of BCH shenanigans now.

The masses will be agentic ai. I see the greatest hope for BCH as ai, with its accumulation of all knowable, will use BCH as its the one coin that (even though is not the best) excels in all parameters.

BCH needs to get the bottom up adoption going one way or another. This is and was the Bitcoin pivot point since inception in 2009.
All the attention you get with price rise is from people who do not care about p2p cash but about their dollar gains.
When adoptions points up the shorters will not be able to stop it, the masses will simply overwhelm them.

BCH is trash, as any other shitcoins. I was around during the block size debate. You can’t tell me to not remember the dubious methods used by Ver and other bcash proponents (event co-opting the entire sub /btc), or the fact that they were left in the dust. It’s pumping now, or at least not dumping as hard as other alts, but it will ALWAYS be just another alt. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
