Ampleforth is an Ethereum-based token designed to maintain stable purchasing power Ampleforth's protocol is a token built on Ethereum but is chain agnostic and can be supported on multiple blockchains. It relies on a market oracle system of whitelisted data providers to broadcast the 24 hour volume weighted average price (VWAP) to an on-chain aggregator that takes the median value to base the supply adjustment off of. At the 24 hour mark, supply changes are automatically enacted proportionally across all wallets. The team controls two administrative functions setRebasePaused which pauses any changes in supply and setTokenPaused that uniformly freezes all funds across the protocol.
