10:10 Thursday, January 27, 2022 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of experience management platform, Qualtrics International Inc. (XM) are rising more than 8% in the morning trade on Thursday after the company reported nearly 50% revenue growth in the fourth quarter. Qualtrics also provided first-quarter as well as full-year revenue outlook, better than view.

Revenue for the fourth quarter increased 48% year-over-year to $316 million.

Looking forward to the first quarter, the company sees revenue between $324 and $326 million. The consensus estimate stands at $314.68 million.

For the full-year, revenue is expected between $1.402 billion and $1.406 billion. Analysts expect revenue of $1.36 billion for the period.

In the fourth quarter, net loss was $309.8 million, or $0.56 per share, compared to $14.5 million, or $0.03 per share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2020.

Excluding one-time items, adjusted loss was $39.4 million, or $0.07 per share.

Further, the company today said top global brands, including Barclays, Comcast and Southwest Airlines, chose Qualtrics during the fourth quarter of 2021.

"While leading brands have historically relied on Qualtrics to better understand and act on the feelings and emotions of their customers and employees, many are now choosing to expand their relationship with the company as Qualtrics continues to offer increasingly valuable capabilities and insights," the company said.

XM, currently at $26.35, has been trading in the range of $22.72- $57.28 in the past 52 weeks.
