The company's bottom line totaled $227 million, or $0.48 per share. This compares with $208 million, or $0.41 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Flex Ltd. reported adjusted earnings of $238 million or $0.50 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter fell 1.5% to $6.62 billion from $6.72 billion last year.
