10:45 Thursday, December 23, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of Crocs, Inc. (CROX) are falling more than 15% Thursday morning after the company announced its decision to acquire privately owned casual footwear brand Heydude in a cash and stock deal valued at $2.5 billion.

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.

CROX, currently at $118.10, has been trading in the range of $58.97- $183.88 in the past one year.
