10:49 Friday, December 17, 2021 (RTTNews.com) - Shares of Oracle Corporation (ORCL) are slipping nearly 5% on Friday morning on reports that the software giant is in talks to buy medical-records company Cerner Corp.

ORCL is currently trading at $98.54, down $4.68 or 4.53%, on the Nasdaq.

Wall Street Journal reported that Oracle is in talks to buy the electronic-medical-records company in a deal that could be worth around $30 billion. A deal could be announced soon, according to the report.
